MELISA WAS walking down the hall in the firehouse when she heard Gabby call out to her. She stopped and turned to the paramedic, who made her way over. "You gave him my number. You gave Jay my number."
"Pretty boy walked into the bar and asked about you." Melisa then smiled. "You haven't been on a date in a long time. I was just helping you out."
Gabby paused, crossing her arms. "He is pretty." Melisa nodded in agreement, which earned her a look from Gabby.
"I'm not blind," Melisa shrugged. "So, did he call?"
Gabby shook her head. "Not yet."
"He will. Maybe you'll go on a date and have a great time."
"It's fine... this time. But don't give my number to anyone else."
"I won't."

"Remember, it's not a speech," Hermann told Mouch. "It's a town hall. So, you have to be comfortable and conversational to hold the audience's interest."
"That's where these come in." Melisa gave Mouch the key cards. "They're called key cards. And they're used by some of the most successful public speakers in the world."
"Key cards," Mouch repeated out loud.
"It's stuff that we've all heard you spout time and time again," Hermann explained. "You know, when you're getting yourself all worked up."
"I'd be more comfortable and conversational if I was sitting."
"Let's get you a stool." Melisa grabbed one from the corner of the room and brought it to Mouch, who sat down. "The town hall seat of choice."
Melisa and Hermann grabbed a chair each and sat in front of Mouch. "Okay. I can work with this," he told them.
