AMY LEANED ON THE back of one of the chairs in the hospital waiting room. The whole team was there. And they had informed Antonio's family of what happened. They were waiting together anxiously.

Erin went to comfort Laura. "Hey. He's gonna be okay. All right?"

"Thank you," Laura whispered. Their family had gone through a lot.

A doctor walked in and approached Laura. "Mrs. Dawson."

"Is he gonna be alright?"

"We're gonna monitor him closely, but he may need a second surgery. He's not out of the woods yet."

"Can I see him?"

"Of course." Laura looked at Hank and the detectives and nodded at them. She wanted them to go with her, and they did. "Right here."

Amy walked next to Jay. She felt a little nervous. She hated hospitals. Laura went to Antonio's side, and the rest stood at the end of the bed.

Antonio was pale from losing blood. He had tubes sticking out of his nose, and his arm was in a cast. He didn't look good. He could barely get any words out because of how weak he was.

Antonio was greeted by his fellow detectives. "Belden?" Antonio asked. His voice was hoarse.

Hank shook his head. "Gone."

"Those guards?"

"Both dead."

Antonio sighed. He couldn't believe more people were dead because of Pulpo. Working with him was a big mistake. "Find him."

"We will."

The team got back to the district after they visited Antonio. They were determined to catch Pulpo. Especially after what he did downstairs.

"Listen up," Hank spoke. He was pissed. "What Pulpo did downstairs was an attack on our family. First Willhite, and now Antonio. So let me be clear. Forget warrants. Forget the rules. It's on us to catch him. And when we do, he's to be handed off to me and Alvin."

Jay seemed almost alarmed by what Hank had just said. He glanced at the other detectives to see if they felt the same. He looked at Amy. She just had a blank expression, so he didn't know what she felt.

Jin walked in. "They found a possible getaway vehicle up on Division."

"Any sign of Pulpo?" Adam asked.

"One dead male, no confirmation on the body yet."

Hank nodded. "All right. Let's go."

"Hey, sarge?" Hank looked at Jay, who spoke. "I'm just looking for a little clarification on what you just said."
