"I ONLY MET RUSSELL a couple of times," Lexi told Amy. She had witnessed a shooting that went down that morning, and Amy was questioning her about it. They were in the break room. "He's a really nice guy. He offered to walk me to the train."

"Did you know that he was in a gang?"

Lexi was holding a cup of hot cocoa. "He was always cool to me."

Amy nodded slightly. "So, what happened in the alley?" She saw Alvin walking into the bullpen. He was listening to their conversation.

"Um, the guy came up. Russell and him started arguing."

"About what?"

"He told Russell, you're in the wrong neighborhood. The guy was totally gakked out."

"Did you get a name, or..." Amy trailed off.

"I heard Russell call him..." Lexi paused. She seemed unsure about what she heard. "Calaca?"

Alvin walked in right after Lexi said that. "Okay. Come on, let's go home." Lexi stood up and followed her dad out. They didn't have much, but it was a start.

The briefing started as soon as everyone had arrived. "Calaca means skeleton in Spanish," Antonio informed them. "My money's on the Latin Priests. That's the kind of name they give their boys."

"Neighbors don't claim to have seen anything," Jay stated. He was sitting by his desk.

Amy stood next to Jay's desk. "And there's no security cameras either."

Antonio saw Mia enter. "Shift's already started. Where you been?"

Mia turned to Hank, who was sharing a look with Antonio. "The report you requested, Sergeant. A breakdown of all drug-related busts in the Pilsen area in the last 12 months."

"How many files did you have to go through?" Erin asked her.

"All right, now give me a list of all gang-affiliated males in the neighborhood that were arrested with a weapon and who were between 5'2 and 6'3," Hank ordered.

"gun man's 5'9," Jay stated.

"You can never be too careful." Mia didn't say anything. She just left to do what she was told.
