"ALL RIGHT, there are two unrelated wire investigations," Hank told his team. The whiteboard was set up. "Surveillance followed three of area central's top-ranking gang targets to this house on Carpenter. Narcotics hasn't gotten anywhere with it, so command staff wants Intelligence on it. Roll out in five."
They went to the location. Amy was in the car with Jay. She was sitting in the passenger seat- she had a camera out and was taking pictures. The detectives were communicating through their radioes. "10-4. We got the south and a partial of the alley," Jay informed them.
A man walked to the house, and Amy put the camera down when she saw him. "Hold on," she said into the radio. "We got company."
"Who's this joke?" Antonio asked. The guy was wearing a yellow hoodie. He walked up to the door.
"Gun!" Jay yelled when he saw the guy in the hoodie holding a weapon. Before they knew it, bullets shot through the door, hitting the guy multiple times. Moments later, he was lying on the ground.
Adam got into the house first, and Alvin was right behind him. Amy and Jay got their guns, and they entered the home.
The shooter was on the floor, bleeding- Adam was the one who shot him.
"Police!" Amy went further into the house, going to the closest room. "Clear!" It was empty.
"This one's alive," Jay said, referring to the guy on the floor. The one outside was dead.
"Charlie 50-21, emergency," Alvin called it in. Adam and Jay did their best to stop the bleeding. Amy and Erin went to the next room.
"In here!" Erin called out moments later. Hank and Antonio walked in. She showed them the bullets she found. "Cop killers."
"Look at this," Amy said as she looked through the plastic bag.
"What do you got?" Antonio walked over to her. She grabbed a small container and gave it to him. "Insulin. Somebody was a diabetic?"
Amy emptied the bag, revealing it was filled with insulin containers. "Or not," Antonio added.
"Is there a black market for this stuff?" Amy asked- she had never heard of it before.
