Chapter 24: Wounded Hearts

"Human, I am warning you, stay away." Thor warns Bulls, his glare says the same. "I will only warn you once."

"Worried about hurting a friend? Me, too." Bulls clenches his fist. He tries his best to clear his mind from distractions and worries. "Will I be able to beat him? Even a mere human could overpower me, what more the God of Thunder?"

"I need to do this, human!" Thor stood back up and ran towards his friend, clenching his fist.

"Make me understand!" Bulls also ran towards Thor. "Ten Pound Hammer!"

"Thunder Smash!" 

A powerful shockwave blasted as Bulls and Thor crashed into each other, sending dust and debris flying in all directions. 

"You can do this, Bulls. Your plan worked, you absorbed such power... now learn to use it with Hakyushu!" He motivates himself.

Thor immediately punched Bulls but he dodged it. Bulls countered it with a powerful body blow, almost taking Thor down on his knees. 

"His strength... it is unbelievable!" Thor quickly threw a powerful uppercut and sent Bulls off the ground, pulled his leg and threw him into the concrete boulders. He dashed towards Bulls with his charged fist behind him, ready to hit Bulls again.

"Blue Bolt." Bulls grabbed Thor's fist, and pulled him, flinging him into the air. "Graaahhh! That hurts!"

"It worked! I managed to use it as a power boost!"

Thor crashed into the debris but quickly stood back up and began to sprint towards Bulls, he pulled both his hands backwards. "Zap: Cannon!" Then Thor blasted powerful barrages of electricity towards Bulls.

"Now use it on your legs!" Bulls leapt to the side but he got grazed on his shoulder. "You saved so many people, defeated hundreds of foes, for what? For the sake of doing good, right?" Bulls exclaimed as he slowly stood up. "And now you're telling me that you will destroy a city? Hell nah!"

Bulls dashed closer to Thor, engaging in an extreme exchange of punches. 

"His punches are heavy... but it's surprising that I can endure them."

"I am holding on to my reason!" Thor exclaimed. 

"Then state them! Pliers Grip!" Bulls grabs Thor's fist and pulls him closer then charges a powerful punch straight into Thor's face. "Now with your fist...!Ten Pound Bolt Hammer!"

The God of Thunder was shook and almost lost his balance. 

"Come on, Thor! Just say it!" Another fist has been thrown, punching Thor in his ribs. "You can trust me!"

"Distance yourself away from me! I do not want to hurt any of my allies!" Thor charged up his left hand, forming a blade-like electricity protruding out of his fist, "Minka Lightning Bolt."

He stabs the sharp bolt of light, piercing through Bulls' chest, and falling on his knee.

"That hurts..." Bulls holds his chest, surprisingly no open wound.

"Meant to stop your heart, not to stab it." Thor turns away and starts to walk proudly. 

"The powerful lightning bolt that I absorbed earlier was powerful but instead of killing me, the attack simply charged me up! So this attack is nothing to me!" Bulls yells at Thor. "My charged biology saved me from your fatal strike. You deserve the credit!" He laughs joyfully. 

Thor picked a large concrete pillar and threw it to Bulls. "You must stay immobile!"

"Why don't you... just tell me... your reason!" Bulls pulled himself back up and internally rotated his fist, "Hakyushu: Bolt Drill!" The whole pillar breaks into small chunks and scatters all over the place.
