Chapter 29 ~ You Didn't Tell Me Everything

Dad was asleep on the floor. He had been out for a good few hours now and he looks awful. Today I watched him take a harsh beating and you can tell from his appearance.
Raven was on my lap playing with some string that had came loose from my shirt. She wrapped it around her hands, legs, and then wrapped it around her head. A small laugh came out of my mouth and she turned around. She put her hands on my cheeks and pushed on them to give me a fish face.
I heard a laugh from beside me than a hand came to rest on Raven's head. Dad was awake. He was smile but it wasn't in his eyes. He looked so worn out but he kept himself up.
Do I ask him about the clone or do I leave it alon? Was it important for him to know?
"Hey dad?"
"Hmm?"
I looked down at my dad," I saw someone today. They....they looked like me. Same hair and eyes but the hair was longer."
Dad's eyes got wide then settled back down. He sat up a little and propped up on his elbows, " She can't be alive. No she...she's gone."
"Who's gone? You didn't tell me everything did you?"
Dad looked me in the eye, "No I didn't. I didn't tell you cause we thought she was dead, but Alex, you have an older sister. "
