As we I looked closer I saw that her ankle was sprained and was bleeding. Mom and Ace stood in fighting postions, like Stormy was some kind of threat.
"Is she a friend of yours Jebidiah?" mom asked
Not taking my eys off of Stormy answered," Not really.I just sorta know her." Then I walk slowly to her as Ace and mom gave out a silent protest.
As I got closer Stormy tried to stand, but counldn't. I knelt in front of her, "What happened?"
"I was being chased. By these people from a place called Itex."
I look at my mom," Isn't Itex the place hunting down you?"
"We don't really, but that is where we are checking."
Stormy looked up at me in shock," You are going to Itex. That is a bad idea."
"They have my dad."
"Who is your dad?"
"I knew him as Flyn, buthis real name is Fang."
That earned me a gasp," Your dad is Fang? I've heard his name all the time. That means... your mom is Maximum Ride!"

"She knows who you are." I saw as I crossmy arms
"Yeah. That means she has been in Itex lately. But that doesn't mean she was there as a prisoner."
"I don't trust her."
