Chapter 30 ~ I Missed My Baby

(Man 30 chapters! My first MR book only made it to 20 chapters! Well for anyone who is wondering, we aren't close to an ending either! Woow for you ehhh for me since I wanna finish before the Watty Awards deadline :/)

Flying is weird when your blind. I wouldn't say it was hard. Just weird.
I know that Max is on my right and Nudge is on my left, Ace is under me by about ten feet, and Jebidiah and Stormy are 100 feet behind us. Clears sky's ahead and we are an hour from Virginia.
That's it. That's all in know.
"Dad!" I hear from below.
"Yeah?"
Ace flies to get behind me," How far away are we?"
"An hour if we keep at this speed."

I flew up next to Max, looked behind me at Stormy, then to Max, "Have you noticed that Stormy's foot is perfectly fine now?"
Max didn't look at me," Of course I did. I know who she is. Well I know who's kid she is?"
"Who?"
Max did the same thing I did and looked back at Stormy, " I won't say just yet. I don't want her to think her cover us blown. But she has to be the reason two of my kids have gone missing. Make sure you stay close to your dad."
Who's kid could she be?

We have been on the ground for about and hour and no sign of Angel or Gazzy. I was getting nervous. Holden and Rachet were in their stolen car and looking around nearby city. It didn't look good.
" Why don't we all spread up?" Jebidiah asked. I didn't answer him. I was still just a little (well a little more than a little) angry about the whole Stormy thing.
"Mom? Mom? I'm talking to you." Jebidiah slowly moved closer to me.Then out of frustration he grabbed my arm and pushed me to where no one else could hear us, "Why aren't you talking to me? Is this about Stormy? "
"Well are you just a little Sherlock? Of course it's about Stormy! She can't be trusted. She is not who you think she is."
Before he could protest someone screams my name. Then something crashes into me and gave me a hug.
It was Angel. A 20 something year old Angel. She looked the same as always just a good bit taller, but she also had blood running down her face.
"Angel? What happened?"
They got Gazzy."

You're late on you call. Where are they?
"The group has made it to Virginia. But it looks like you hit a wrong group. Someone from a two person group is missing.
We know. It doesn't matter. Not a set back. We have plans for this man anyway.
