How could they not keep me but they could keep three others? Was I not a great looking kid? Was I too disappointing? I was only five when they left me. I couldn't have done much to make them hate me.
"Phoenix? Are you okay?" Stormy ask as we walk down a hallway to get to our dad's office.
"Yeah. I'm doing great. Soon I'll be able to give my parents what they deserve. "
Stormy looked at me like I was talking crazy. Like I didn't have a reason to hurt them. They hurt me already.
We walked through the door to our dad's office. The man who took me in after my dear parents abandoned me. Dylan.
He stood at a desk talking to a 'doctor' while looking the a window that looked over some of the experiment rooms. They were staring directly at one with a blonde guy in it. He was one of my mom's youngest friends.
Dad heard us come in and turned around, "Hey sweeties. How's Jebidiah? "
Stormy looked down at the ground which meant I was the one who had to speak up, " He looked surprised that I existed, but I don't think giving away a kid would be something you tell your other kids."
"No, " Dylan says, " I wouldn't think so. Why don't we bring your dear mom and dad in here? I've been wanting to talk to them since they got here. You can finally meet them, but you can't kill them just yet."
