Sharingan:Byakugan Combination

Chapter 4

The next morning I packed my ninja pouch and remembered to put a couple snacks in it just in case.  Always best to be prepared as a ninja.  My dad wasn't home when I woke up but that's a normal thing for me.  I made my way to where he told us to meet and was the last one there besides my dad sadly but oh well, I have my fathers habit for being late.  I walked quickly passed Naruto and Sasuke and sat on the bridge.  I pulled out my book and begin studying the different kekkei genkai recorded.  Like always I was particularly fond of the Hyuga clans kekkei genkai of the byakugan. 

"Where is your father Hitomi" Sasuke addressed me coldly drawing my eyes away from the pages in my book.

"I don't know he wasn't home when I left" I shrugged pulling out a small snack from my pouch and started munching on it.  

"Hey your father said no breakfast" Naruto started to complain over his growling stomach.

"It isn't breakfast this is my snack, how are you suppose to train on an empty stomach anyway?" I said matter-of-factually holding out a piece for Naruto and Sasuke.

They took it after looking at me for a few seconds.  We all sat down leaning against the bridge posts until my father walked up.

"I'm sorry I'm late I got a bit distracted on my walk here, are you guys all ready to start your first day of training?" He said with his goofy little chuckle as he started to lead us to where training will be held

When we got there he explained the rules and how we wouldn't get lunch if we couldn't get the bells by the end of the day.  He also explained that if we didn't pass this test we'd fail and have to go back to the academy.  I tried to hide my surprise as he told us we could start and Sasuke and I instantly jumped into the thick forest surrounding the training field.  Naruto stupidly stayed and tried to challenge my father.  I got myself high in a tree and started to read while I racked my brain how to over power my father.

I saw Sasuke try to challenge him too.  That's when I realized how to get the bells but I needed to talk to Naruto and Sasuke and get them to agree on it.  Teamwork is the only way to over power a jonin like my father.  I saw Naruto dangling from his ankles from a tree so I threw my shuriken and got him down and made my way over to the tree.

"Naruto the only way to get the bells from him is team work" I whisper swiftly into his ear.

"No I'm not losing to Sasuke. Besides there is only 2 bells" He says stubbornly.

"I'll let you and Sasuke take the bells just meet me in the forest" I say while I sprint back into the forest. 

After convincing Sasuke and Naruto to work as a team I made our plan up.  Naruto was gonna distract my dad making him think that it was just Naruto and Sasuke would get him from behind while pushing him closer to the walls off the forest so I could use one of my favorite justu which allows me trap my enemies with vines or roots but I must be near the source of where they coming from.  After a couple of seconds of checking supplies we moved off.  Naruto went off to attack and soon Sasuke went after my father.

After a few attacks my father was in range and I made my hand signs and yelled out from the shade of the forest.

"Leaf Style! Hidden Trap Jutsu" I said as the roots shot up from the tree and wrapped around my father as Naruto and Sasuke shot forward and grabbed the bells.

"Yes!" Naruto cheered holding the bell as I released my father and stepped out of the shadows.

"Well congratulations boys, my apologizes Hitomi, no lunch for you" My father said but patted my head "But nice work on that jutsu" 

"Thank you Kakashi Sensei"  I said moving to the posts and letting myself get tied up.

Naruto and Sasuke began to eat while my father made it clear not to share with me but I was extremely weak because I put to much chakra into that jutsu and I was super hungry.  I constantly stared at the food.

"Here Hitomi" Sasuke held his food out to me.

"Hey Sasuke wait, Kakashi Sensei said" Naruto said but was cut off by Sasuke.

"I know what he said but she's the reason were eating and we actually passed" He said letting me take a couple bites off his food but as I took a bite my dad appeared.

"You guys." He started sternly "Passed"

A smile spreads across my face as he started to tell us how team work makes teams and that's what this was looking for and if we didn't use team work we wouldn't have passed.  

"Thank god for you Hitomi" Naruto smiled at me.
