Chapter 28

Neji and Hinata stood facing each other. I could feel tension in the room.  Neji stood with a permanent glare on his face.  I knew this fight wouldn't be good so I decided to look away.  I would occasionally glance at the fight and saw how Hinata wouldn't give up no matter how bad it was or her.  Neji looked ready to kill and Hinata close to collapsing.  Suddenly everyone was on him, Guy, Asuma, Kurani and my dad.

"Naruto" I yelled after him as he jumped down and ran over to Hinata.

I sighed following him I ran over where Naruto was yelling at Neji saying he promises to win for Hinata and beat the shit out of Neji.  Naruto looked at me with a hard glare set in his expression.

"And you're friends with this prick!" He yelled at me.

"You don't understand Naruto" I said shaking my head "I don't agree with his actions but you  just really don't understand."

Everyones eyes scanned us as I shook my head once more and turned to Neji.

"We need to talk real quick" I mumbled grabbing his arm and pulling him away.

We walked back up to the rafters away from everyone else.

"Neji. I know you hate the main branch but this is no way to act.  You need to treat people more fairly.  You'll get yourself killed by being this cocky and arrogant.  You maybe faster, stronger and smarter then a lot of us but that doesn't give you the right to treat us all like  shit" I said angrily stamping my foot down.

"Hitomi.  You don't know the pain of losing your father" He said angrily "He died replacing hers"

"My dad is never home Neji.  I lost my mother before I knew her Neji. You aren't superior to anyone.  We are all leaf shinobi.  We will all be fighting together.  We all work together" I yelled putting my hand on his shoulder "Just understand that please" 

With that I walked away and glanced at the board the next match.

Rock Lee

vs.

Gaara

I saw the red head already on the field and Lee running down now.  I had a bad feeling about this Gaara kid.  I looked up and saw Naruto walking over.

"Hey Naruto" I said and he nodded to me.

"That Kankuro kid thinks Gaara is going to win.  I think bushy brow has this in the bag" Naruto said as I laughed softly.

The fight had started when I saw what Gaara had in store for us.  The gourd on his back was full of sand and it moved on its own and stopped all of Lee's attacks and Lee was insanely fast.  The fight went on like this for a while longer until Lee took off the weights on his ankles and moved double his original speed.  I also saw that Gaara can also attacks with his sand.

Lee started to face Gaara because the sand could barely block enough so Lee started to get some hits on him.  This continued for a little longer until Lee used what I noticed as The Primary Lotus.  I saw my dad give Guy Sensei a look then shake his head.

Next thing I saw was Gaara have his sand wrap around Lee's arm and leg and crush them completely. Guy Sensei quickly went down to guard Lee.  I felt my feet moving also and soon I was down by Guy Sensei.

Gaara just stood there staring at us.

"What the hell are you doing?!" I yelled feeling flustered "You won why attempt to kill him!" 

He looked at me again before going back up to the rafters.  What the hell is with this guy? Something is off with him.  There had to be more to him then just being plain crazy right?
