The four of us took off and I could tell we were all tense.  We were in the radius of potential ambushes and were all on high alert.  I could tell Naruto was tense cause he freaked out and randomly threw a kunai through some brush.  It hit a giant centipede.  Gross...

"Ew that's nasty.." I mumbled before we continued running.

Shortly night had fallen so we decided to rest.

"We should keep moving through the night. I don't feel like we're getting any closer" Kabuto suggested before Sasuke's head snapped up towards the tower then to the trees.

"What is it Sasuke?" I asked noticing his look.

He stood up pulling back the bush revealing the giant centipede Naruto's kunai hit early.

"We've been going in circles?!" Naruto yelled but I saw Kabuto shaking his head.

"No I think someone's trapped us in their genjutsu" He said leaning in.

I sensed people around us and shivered and they all looked at me.

"What is it Hitomi?" Sasuke asked before looking at me.

"Clones.. They're surrounding us" I  said shaking my head.

"Naruto use your shadow clones to transform into us Hitomi will keep an eye to see if any of the real enemy show themselves.  Can you handle this yourself?" Sasuke whispered as Naruto nodded.

I watched Naruto clone himself 3 times and transform then into us.  Sasuke pulled me and Kabuto into the bushes just before the first clone appeared.

I noticed Naruto getting tired but also I noticed 3 figures appear across from me Sasuke and Kabuto.

"Sasuke. Their across the path over there" I whisper pointing just as they walked up to Naruto as he collapsed.

The one who appeared to be in charge said something to Naruto but he smirked just as the clones disappeared.  That was our cue.  We jumped out catching the by surprise and easily beat them up.  To our luck they had the scroll we needed.

"Good job Naruto bu we need to get there quickly." I said as we quickly sprinted to the building 

We made it just in time.  Kabuto's squad was waiting for him and we thanked him again.  After he left we walked into the doors where there was a sign on the wall.

"I think we have to open both scrolls" I said holding out the one.

Sasuke nodded and we both opened the scrolls and Iruka Sensei appeared.

"Iruka Sensei?!" Naruto and I yelled.

"Hey guys. I'm glad you made it okay" He said with a smile showing how deeply concerned he was.

"So we passed the second exam?" Sasuke asked..

"Yes. The next is just through this door.  Good luck" and with that Iruka Sensei disappeared again and we walked through the door to see what was in store for us next.
