FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS ANNA HAD BEEN STAYING MOST NIGHTS WITH HOPE. It wasn't for any reason, atleast no one knew the reason why, but she didn't want Shawn to worry for her. She had been keeping quiet, kissing contact with her friends lately and they were concerned. So when Jason showed up and saw Anna at hopes house, he was seemingly concerned at her appearance."Jason, what are you doing here?" Hope asked, searching her house to make sure nothing was out of the ordinary.
"You left your history books in my car...am I interrupting something?" Jason teased, seeing Anna walk out of hopes bedroom. Hope rolled her eyes, shoving Jason lightly as he chuckled.
"Oh shut up."
"Hey, maybe you are what's the problem?" Anna joked, making Jason raise his hands in defense.
"No problem, no problem at all."
Jason furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at Anna, her face seemed strained as she laughed, exhausted.
"Hey, so you two are together again huh?"
Jason said, making hope and Anna smile at each other.
"Always. There's nothing off about that." Hope explained, making Jason nod. His eyes wandered, he didn't mean to, but they did. And finally, they landed on her wrists.
"Not at all."
The truth was, Anna had been sleeping at hopes alot lately. She tended to avoid being home after her parents left, and she knew turners wouldn't be an option. Not if she showed up with a black eye. The only one who could protect her without any questions was hope. She needed to stay with Hope. So when Anna went to use the restroom, Jason couldn't help but mention the bruises on her wrists.
"What happened to her wrists?" Jason whispered, his voice full of worry as Hope began to panick.
"Nothing happened to her wrists. What are you talking about?" She said, brushing the comment off as Haosn sighed angrily.
"Hope, don't lie to me. What happened to her wrist?"
She shook her head, letting Jason walk into the house as he stared at her desperately.
"Jason it's nothing I promise."
"Hope..." he warned, making her stare back at him. Her heart ached with the wish to tell him, but she couldn't.
"It's nothing."
"New soap Hopey, gotta love the lavender smell." Anna said, leaving the bathroom as she shook her hands, slowing down when she noticed the tense air between the two.
