Leah's POV

I blinked my eyes quickly after i realized i had fallen asleep, i didn't even realize i was laying on the couch still. I sat up quickly and looked around, i didn't move for a couple of seconds to try and hear if there was anyone else in the hotel room. I didn't hear anything, pure silence.

I looked at my phone and didn't see any missed calls, i was more than worried now. Madeline hadn't come back from wherever it is she went last night after our argument. I ringed her again but it went straight to voicemail. I didn't know if she was okay and in a hotel room, or if she was dead on the side of the road.

Sometimes i don't know what she's thinking. Who leaves and doesn't tell their significant other where they're going, i know she was probably still upset but that didn't mean i didn't care about her.

I ringed the other person i trusted the most at the moment, keira picked up instantly.

Phone Call

'Yeah?'

'Keira..hey i'll try to explain later but have you seen or heard from Madeline?'

'Uh...yeah i sent you a text.'

I went to messages and saw a text from keira she sent it last night.

'Yeah, i just saw it i'm sorry..i must've fallen asleep and forgot to check.'

'It's fine leah, she just left so she should be there any minute..is everything okay?'

'Yeah, Keira thank you for letting her spend the night...we just got into a stupid argument..'

'Ah..well you know you can talk to me about anything leah.'

'I know, thank you again kei.'

'...OH hey...i forgot to ask, do you wanna come over later?'

'Um...yeah sure- of course.'

'Alright.'

'I'll text you when i'm there.'

'Okay, see you later.'

'Bye.'

Phone Call Ended

~

I took a deep breath of relief, knowing she wasn't roaming the roads made my heart stop beating a hundred times per second. Anything could've happened to her, but i'm glad and thankful that she went to keira.

After a few minutes of waiting, i heard a knock at the door and i stood up quickly. I opened the door and saw her standing there, she turned to look at me and she gave me half a smile. I wasted no time and pulled her in towards me, i held her closely. At first i didn't feel her hugging me back but after a few seconds of me holding her, i felt her arms slowly wrap around my waist.

I pulled away and closed the door after her, i stared at her and i wanted to get on my knees and apologize for everything. I didn't know she'd leave, but even if she didn't leave i did realize that the argument last night was pretty stupid.
