Chapter 45 - Impatient

Madeline's POV

As i blinked my eyes open, i rubbed my left eyes and looked down at my arm. Leah was laying on top of it, we had fallen asleep and i couldn't even feel my arm anymore. I laid there for a while hoping leah would wake up on her own, i kept trying to keep myself awake since we did have training in a few. 

I felt leah shifting around, my arm was free and i took it back. I sat up and looked at leah, her eyes still looked puffy. 

"Morning.." i smiled as i whispered at her. 

I heard her groan, her hand fell on her lower tummy. I sighed and stood up from the bed. 

"Where are you going?" leah asked in her groggy sleepy voice.

"We have training..remember?" i said.

"Oh.." leah sat up slowly and i looked over at her. 

"Do you need anything?" i asked her. 

"I think i'm gonna take a warm shower..it might help." leah said.

"I'll get it ready for you..." i said and walked over to her bathroom, i turned the warm water on and touched it to make sure it wasn't too hot but still warm. I opened her bathroom closet and got two towels out, i placed them right next to the shower for leah. "All ready..." i said walking out of the bathroom and seeing her stand up. Leah walked into the bathroom and i walked over to mine.

I took a quick shower to have enough time to make breakfast for us, i made us those pancakes leah wanted. After leah got out we ate in silence, i figured she wanted quiet during mornings like these. 

After getting ready for training, leah drove us to training. We had barely parked when leah finally broke the silence. 

"Would you want to go visit my cousin jordan with me after training?" leah asked, i was a little confused but i didn't want to make things weird. 

"Uhm...if you want me to go...i'll go." i said.

"I don't want you at home...all bored. Besides it's kind of a long drive so i need the company." leah smiled.

"Then i'll go." i smiled

Training had been light today, we had our match tomorrow against man city. While we were in the changing room, Alessia and I were talking. The rest of the girls were walking in while we were finishing up getting dressed. 

"I can't believe you're gonna live with leah..." alessia said.

"Why not.." i laughed a little.

"You could've been my roommate it would've been so much fun..." alessia said sounding so disappointed. 

"I'm still here...you can visit anytime." i said rubbing her shoulder. 

"Wow..leah never invites anyone to her house really..." alessia said. "I'll take you up on that offer though..." alessia smiled.

"You ready?" i heard a voice come from behind me. 

I turned and saw leah with her training bag, i nodded and hugged alessia goodbye. We made our way into the car and i could tell by leah's face she was probably in pain. She had started driving when i reached over and grabbed her hand. I held it and looked at her, i felt leah hold my hand as well.
