Chapter 32 - Unexpected Situations

Madeline's POV

I slowly opened my eyes as i heard the door open, jessie pulled away first which caused me to pull away and turn my head. I met with those same blue eyes, the same blue eyes that i fell in love with and those same blue eyes who broke my heart.

I stared at leah standing there, her eyes were glossy but she kept going back and forth on jessie and me. Leah didn't know who to look at, i looked at jessie who looked like she was looking at me for help.

I don't think jessie knew about me and Leah, she never brought it up when we first started talking or ever. 

I looked back at leah and saw her look at Jessie.

"Could you give us a minute?" leah said to jessie.

Jessie looked at me and stood up.

"Jessie-" i said.

"No it's fine.."

"Jessie you don't have to go.." i grabbed her hand and pulled her back down. Jessie turned to me and smiled sitting back down slowly.

"Jessie i think it's best if you leave." leah walked into the room fully. Jessie stood up and looked at leah. 

"Jessie sit down." i said standing up and looked at jessie.

"I'll give you two a minute..." jessie looked at leah and said. "I'll be downstairs okay?" jessie turned to me and said giving me a reassuring smile. I nodded and smiled and her. Jessie walked out and i looked at leah. Leah looked pissed but she had literally no reason to. She walked over and closed the door.

"What do you think you're doing?" leah asked me turning around to face me. 

"What am I doing? What are you doing walking into my bedroom like that?" i asked.

"Don't turn this around on me." leah shook her head. "Are you mad because i ruined your little makeout session?" leah asked.

"Just when we're on good terms...you always find a way to ruin it leah." i shook my head looking around my room, i sat back down on the bed and looked at leah. "What did you come here for."

"Eleonor invited me-"

"Not that...in here." i said.

"I wanted to talk to you.." leah said. What's new?

"You've been wanting that a lot recently haven't you?" i looked at leah who sat down on the bed. 

"I was thinking last night..about us-"

"You were thinking about us last night?" i asked.

"Madeline you've been on my mind ever since you left my house i don't know why you're surprised." leah scoffed before saying that. "I was realizing...or wondering how it is you felt.." leah said.

"You know how i feel.." i said.

"I know what you don't want...you don't want to get back with me because you think it'll end the same." leah said. "i can assure you it won't...but i want to know what's on your mind.." leah said.
