Leah's POV

I had woken up earlier than usual, it was about 8 in the morning. Mum was making breakfast for the three of us, i had fed bella since i saw her walking over to me. I had a day planned out, it was my last day here so i wanted to take advantage of it.

"Here's your breakfast...and here's Madeline's." mum placed two plates on the table, i walked over and sat down. "I'll be back in about an hour." mum said, i saw her walking over to grab her keys from the counter but she suddenly stopped. "Morning darling." mum said, i turned around and saw madeline walking over to us.

I was expecting her to look a bit rough after last night, she didn't go crazy but she must've definitely have a hangover.

"Good Morning." madeline smiled and looked at mum, i saw her as she walked over perfectly fine to sit in front of me.

"I was just telling leah, i'll be back in about an hour i have to go pick some things up for dinner." mum grabbed her keys. "I made some breakfast for you right there."

"Thank you- i could smell it from the room...it looks amazing." madeline nodded.

"Well, thank you. Enjoy you two." mum smiled at us both and walked out of the house.

I looked over at madeline looking down at the plate, her face looked so clueless. "So...how are you feeling?" i asked standing up walking over into the kitchen again.

Madeline groaned, i saw her throw her head back as she held her forehead.

"That answered my question." i said.

"What are you doing?" she asked turning over to me.

"I'm making you some coffee...you're lucky mum actually has coffee here." i said getting a cup.

"Mmm...coffee sounds so good right now..." madeline said.

"Start eating, eggs are supposed to help with hangovers." i told her as i continued to make her the coffee.

I could hear her fork hitting the plate as she started eating.

"Here you go." i walked over carefully carrying the cup and placing it next to her plate. "Careful, it's a bit hot." i said sitting down in my spot.

"Mm...thank you." madeline ran her hand through her hair as she continued to eat.

I kept eating my own breakfast, occasionally looking over at her from time to time. She looked more awake now. I couldn't stop thinking about last night. What she called me. She'd never call me that, not even when we were together.  I wasn't complaining about it, if anything, i liked it. Hell, i really liked hearing those words come out of her mouth.

I wondered if she actually meant them though, some people talk nonsense when they're drunk. But sometimes alcohol makes the truth come out.

"So...please don't tell me i embarrassed myself last night in front of your friends..." madeline said snapping me out of my thoughts.

"You had a fun time last night..." i nodded at her. "You really clicked with caitlin, you two talked all night." i smiled.

"Really?...So they liked me?" she asked.
