Chapter 62 - California is...

Madeline's POV

"Okay, less said she's 5 minutes away...are you sure you don't want to come?" i looked at leah laying on the bed. 

"I'm fine, honestly i want you two to have one on one time...i know you haven't seen each other for quite some time." leah sat up and smiled at me. I smiled and walked over to her, i stuck my arms out at her. Leah stood up and pulled me in, she held me closely for a few second before pulling away. "You look really good, where are you girls going?" leah asked.

"We're gonna go out for lunch, then i think we're just gonna do some shopping." i said.

"Okay, well do you need money- here-" i saw leah reach for her nightstand.

"I'm fine. I have money...thank you though." i took her hand and smiled.

"Okay..." leah smiled and nodded. She pulled me into a hug again, i wrapped my arm around her waist and gave her a few taps.

"Leah...you know i'm coming right back right?" i said, leah pulled away and scoffed.

"I know, but we literally only have today and tomorrow together. Then i'm off to camp again, and you're going on your 'vacation' remember?" leah said.

"Right...well we'll make the most of it." i said.

"Okay then, tomorrow it's just you and me." leah looked at me.

"Deal." i smiled up at her. I looked at the bedroom door as i heard a knock coming from outside. "Looks like she's here." i said. Leah took my chin and gently turned my face to her, i felt her soft lips kiss me. I smiled once she pulled away.

"Have fun alright?" leah smiled rubbing my back. 

"I will, i love you baby." i said.

"I love you too sweetheart." leah said.

I had walked out, i made my way to alessia's car over to the passenger's seat. It had been a while since i had done this, even before leah and I were a thing...i would remember when alessia would pick me up to go to training. Or when she would just give me rides, i missed her so much. It definitely felt like such a long time since we had some alone time.

I opened the door and quickly got into her car, i leaned in to give her a hug and she did as well. "Less....i've missed you so much." i said.

"Me too, god it feels like forever..." she said as we pulled away.

"I know...your hair looks great by the way." i smiled.

"Thank you, i gave it a little trim...but i think i'm gonna let it grow a bit." alessia said running her fingers through her hair. 

"Well i think it looks good either way..." i smiled at her then put my seatbelt on. 

"You ready?" less asked.

"Yeah, let's go."
