"Stiles, slow down!"
Irene yelled at Stiles from the passenger seat of his jeep, tightly clinging onto his shoulder as he drove at a rapid speed to the High School, probably breaking the speed limit more than once.
Lydia had apparently called Stiles in the middle of the night, telling him she randomly ended up at the school after driving for some gas and she thought it might have meant something
After finally arriving to the school Irene groaned and stumbled out of the jeep, although due to her clumsy nature she ended up tripping over her feet and fell down, pulling Stiles down with her as he had opened the door for her
"GAH-"
"Sorry" She mumbled apologetically
Scott smiled and helped Irene up off of Stiles before helping him up too. Lydia was looking all over the place in an uneasy manner while Allison appeared to be comforting her
"Did you find the body?" He asked
"Not yet" Lydia shook her head
"Not yet?- Lydia, you're supposed to call us after you find the dead body!"
"Oh no! I'm not doing that again. You find the body from now on"
"You two bicker like a married couple" Irene commented blankly, rolling her eyes before falling silent and walking off.
Irene was mindlessly walking around the front of the school when suddenly her nose had picked up the scent of something odd. Blood? She looked back at the others bickering and decided to go off on her own
She ended up following the scent out of eye sight from the rest of the group and that was when she saw it. Suddenly the air fell silent after a loud scream echoed through the area
"Irene?!" Scott called out in worry as he rushed to her, pulling her into his arms to check if she was alright before slowly looking up to see what she had seen
"I think I found it..." She whispered, not wanting to look back at the sight
The rest of the group caught up and looked to where Irene and Scott were looking. Sure enough she had found the body. There, lying on the school's sign, was a deputy draped over the sign in a pool of blood.
"I'll call Noah" Irene sighed, taking out her phone but she found her hands shaking
"I'll do it" Scott whispered, taking her phone to call Stiles' dad. He could tell she was too shaken up to do that right now. Scott also knew that she was still trying to get over her PTSD from Nida so seeing a body like that was probably bringing back some painful emotions
After a few minutes Noah and his department had arrived at the high school. And shortly after the body was taken away. Irene looked over when she heard footsteps approaching and saw an officer
"Miss, we need to question you. Can you come with me?"
"Ok..." Irene nodded before being gently guided by the woman, although she kept looking back at Scott and the others as they watched her be walked away
"So they say you found the body?" The woman asked after sitting Irene on the back of the ambulance
"Yes"
"And what were you doing here"
"One of my friends was practicing with the band and I was waiting for him when I found the body," Irene replied. She hated lying to an officer but she couldn't tell them the truth
"Irene!" A man yelled
Officers stopped the man but Noah let him through. The man ran towards Irene, pulling her into a hug and kissing the top of her head
