"Irene!"
"Stiles? What do you want this late? Irene groaned, putting her phone on speaker as she slipped into her car
"We think Barrow might be after Kira. Can you meet us at her house?"
"Barrow is after Kira? Wait. How do you know?"
"We found a code on one of the boards at school"
"Why are you at school this late? Did last time teach you nothing?"
"Can you just meet us!"
"Send me her address. I'm on my way"
After Stiles sent Irene Kira's address she headed off in the direction of her neighborhood and soon ended up parking behind Stiles' blue jeep but when she walked up to it she couldn't see him
"Stiles?" She said, looking around
"Over here!" He yelled
Irene followed where the voice had come from to see Scott sat on the ground in Kira's driveway looking a bit confused and also worried. After helping him up he pulled out his phone to call somebody but put it on speaker so the others could hear
"Isaac. Do you have anything? the bestiary?"
"No, Nothing. Just stuff about flies. and the dead. Nothing else"
"Alright. Thanks" Scott sighed and hung up the phone before turning to the others. They had nothing and they were running out of time. Barrow had Kira somewhere and they don't know where "We have to think of something. He's going to kill her" Scott pleaded
"I knew he was there... how did I know that?" Lydia asked
"because you heard the flies. Right?" Stiles said
"Lydia what do you hear now?" Irene asked
"Nothing!" Lydia yelled in frustration " I feel like I can do this, but I don't know what to do!"
Irene felt bad for Lydia. She must have been going crazy not knowing what to do "It's like it's on the tip of my tongue and I don't know how to trigger it" She groaned "I just - I swear to God, literally makes me want to scream"
"Okay, then scream. Lydia scream" Stiles told her
Lydia took a deep breath before letting out a loud scream that made Irene's head want to explode. It felt as if the very ground beneath her would crack and crumble. Everyone covered their ears due to the loud sound but it barely helped.
"It's not flies" Lydia mumbled, quickly turning around to face everyone but accidentally made them all flinch "It's electricity"
"Wait a second- Barrow was an electrical engineer. He worked at a power substation" Stiles realized
"What substation?" Irene asked seriously
After telling them the substation where Barrow had worked at, Stiles and Irene quickly drove to the spot. Scott had already rushed inside and Irene was waiting for Stiles who was talking to Lydia
"Stiles come on!" Irene yelled as she ran after Scott inside
Irene followed closely after Scott and looked in shock when she saw Kira tied up. She and Scott went to run forwards but Kira yelled at them
"Scott! Irene! No! Look out" She yelled
Irene whipped around and let out a scream of shock as she and Scott were hit with something electrical that sent them back, colliding with a chain fence. But now they were too weak to even stand back up
