I woke up to Kyra gone from the bed, I stretch out and then roll over getting comfortable again, getting back to sleep was a challenge. I was getting less and less able to sleep alone since Kyra and I now seemed to sleep in the same bed 90% of the time.

I breathe in deeply, coming round from my sleep, the smell of eggs and bacon coming into my senses as I did. I hoped if Kyra was making bacon and eggs, she'd be making me some too. My thoughts were confirmed as the bedroom door opened and there stood Kyra with two bacon and egg sandwiches. "Hmm, that looks and smells amazing." I grin as my tummy rumbles. "You looked so peaceful, I didn't want to wake you." Kyra smiles sweetly as she came to the bed and passed me my plate. We sat in bed together and ate our bacon and egg sandwiches. "Hm, so I need to ask you something..." Kyra says swallowing her food. "Hmm?" I ask raising an eyebrow, I wasn't sure what she had on her mind. If I'm honest after yesterday her question had me worried.

"Can we spend the day together?" She asked, I inwardly sigh in relief. Thank goodness it wasn't something else she wanted to talk about. "Of course we can." I smile widely. "Great..." Kyra looked nervous. "Babe, what's wrong?" I ask gently and take her hand in mine. "Um... I kind of have something planned...I don't know if you'll want to though." Kyra blushes. "It can't be that bad can it?" I laugh lightly but Kyra's expression stays with the same nervous look. "Ok Ky, what's up?" I frown "I.. it's..What I'm trying to say is...willyoucometoaspursgamewithme?" Kyra asks barely breathing as she speaks.

I blink trying to make out what she said. "Can you say that again? This time so I can actually understand what you're saying?" I smile with a light laugh. "Can we go to a Spurs game together??" Kyra looks serious. "Can we what?" I ask. "Never mind I.. forget I said anything." Kyra retreats inwardly. "Babe, you do realise Leah would actually dissolve our friendship." I say with a grin. "Right... Leah. Don't worry..." Kyra sighs. "But..." I start. "No, it's ok. Don't worry." Kyra says quietly. "Hey, look at me, Ky." I say lifting her chin with my fingers, now she was eye level with me. "It would make you happy, right?" Kyra nodded. "Then we will go... we both enjoy football, besides... it's a chance for us to see how they play, it benefits us for future games." I say confidently. "Are you sure? I don't want to force you?" Kyra says carefully. "Ky, forcing me would be asking me to wear their jersey, which by the way I'm not doing. I'm up for going." I smile, Kyra smiles widely. "You will?" Kyra asks in disbelief. "For you? Always." I confirm giving her a gentle kiss on the lips, lingering for a moment.

"Ok but now I don't wanna go..." Kyra moans, we laugh before Kyra gives me a proper kiss. One filled with love and tenderness. "Ky, you literally just got me to agree now you don't want to go?" I question cocking my head to the side after we separate from the kiss. "It's your fault." She teased "mine?" "Well we could stay right here and rearrange these sheets." I smirk at her comment. "Oh Kyra!" I laugh realising what she was referring to. "I wanna make our first time together special though... we will soon, I promise." I tuck some hair behind her ear. "Pinky promise?" Kyra asked. I stick out my little finger for her to link. "Promise." I state, Kyra smiles widely, seemingly happy with my promise. Kyra links her little finger with mine.

We get moving, the both of us taking turns to shower and get dressed ready to head to the Spurs game. We both opted on keeping our outfits neutral, Kyra was starting to build in excitement at seeing her best friend play on the pitch. I loved seeing Kyra so happy. We got an Uber to the Spurs stadium, there were a lot of fans already there, we headed to where we were sitting, Kyra purchased a Spurs scarf on the way. "Oh wait till Leah sees this." I grin, Kyra swats my arm "It's for my best friend." Kyra defends. "I know baby. I'm just teasing you." I rub her back.

We get comfortable in our seats watching as the stadium fills, it fills quickly. There's a lot of people, but nothing compared to our game days. I use Kyra's phone to take a picture of her in her spurs scarf.
