Confusion and confessions

I was awake before Lili, the two of us barely slept last night and though I would have loved it to have been for a completely different reason, it was in fact not. I laid quietly while Lili slept, she had been so restless. I've never seen her like that, the fact she isn't even herself when she is asleep is adding to my already present worry. Yawning I grab my phone off the side and scroll lazily through my socials, it didn't last long. "Katie?" Lili stretched out and turned her face towards me. "Good morning, gorgeous." I put my phone down and put all my attention on Lili. "How did you get in?" She asked as she cuddled up to me. "The spare key. I needed to see you, I couldn't wait any longer." I grinned, pushing the worry and every other thought to the back of my mind. "I'm sorry I freaked out. I wasn't expecting it and I literally thought some random had broken in and got into bed with me." Lili chuckled. "I'd like to see them try." I frown. "I hope they like hospitals, they'd definitely be spending a lot of time there." Lili smiled. "Well someone woke up and chose violence... grumpy Katie is... sexy." Lili bit her lip. "Oh yeah?" I smirk, Lili rolled her eyes. "Hey, rolling your eyes at me and not for me is forbidden." I pull her closer. "Ruined it with the smirk though didn't you McCabe?" Lili speaks softly, placing a gentle kiss on my lips. Well this is better at least, maybe whatever it was that had been bothering her had passed. I hoped so anyway. "You know, I'm gonna let that slide...I came to yours at the right time." I bite my lip, Lili tries to stifle a yawn. "Boring you, am I?" I joke. "No, not at all... anyway do tell, why did you come at the right time?" Lili blinks, she's still clearly exhausted. "Well let's put it this way... two weeks is a hell of a long time, sliding into bed, with you almost naked was a treat I wasn't expecting to get." I point out, my hand runs along her exposed leg. "Play your cards right and you might get more than me being almost naked." Lili's eyes scan mine. God they're so green in this light, I could get lost in her eyes. "Hmm is that so?" I kiss on her neck, going up her jaw and towards her lips. "And what if I get my way anyway." I whisper as I reach her lips. Lili's hand goes to the back of my neck and pulls me closer to her, our lips meeting in a slow, gentle kiss. "I fucking missed you. All of you." I groan. "I missed you too, Katie."

Lili plays with the baby hairs at the back of my neck, her touch driving me wild. "What makes you so sure you'll get everything your own way?" Lili's eyes glistened playfully. "I always get what I want, you know the phrase. You've said it on more than one occasion." I scoff. "What phrase would that be?" Lili asks "oh you know it... you know you used to be quite... vocal about it." I state, I want her to say it. "Oh, is that so? Can you remind me?" Lili continued to play dumb. "Oh wait... I think I know." She teases. "Go ok then, enlighten me." I squeeze her hip gently. "What Katie wants..." she starts and then pauses. "Katie gets." I finish her sentence for her, my lips crash onto hers in a passionate kiss, my hands hungrily roaming her body. "Fuck, Katie." Lili breaths out as we breathlessly pull away from each other. "I know, I know. I'm irresistible." I wink. "Are you though?" She looks me up and down. "How about I show you?" I grin and leave little kisses on her pulse point of her neck, I know it's her weakest spot. "Katie..." she breathes out, I continue to leave little kisses, biting lightly. I know I'm affecting her, her moans confirm it. "I would say so." I whisper against her neck. "Hmm" Lili hums, I roll us over so I'm hovering above her, continuing to kiss her body, down her collar bone, to her shoulder. Lili sits up slightly allowing me to remove her top. I remove it with ease, taking a moment to admire her body. I throw her top somewhere on the floor and continue with kisses on her body.

Lili's phone begins to ring, I feel her tense up for a moment but then relaxes again. I frown. "Ignore it." I tell her, she seems to ignore it, it silences. Straight after it silences from ringing it sounds with a notification, followed by another and rings again. Lili sighs. "Ignore it." I repeat, only this time she doesn't. I'm torn between stopping or not. I decide not to stop. "Hello... hey. Ok, calm down." Lili says softly. She actually answered the phone?! Nah, they're gonna know what they interrupted. In a mixture of annoyance and willingness to spoil the call I start to tug on Lili's underwear. "Wait a minute." Lili speaks into the phone, her hand goes to mine on her underwear and pushes my hand off. I look at her and she shakes her head. I frown at her. "Yeah... she what? When?... right. Ok." Lili's conversation continued as she got out of bed. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't annoyed. Who the hell, at this moment takes priority? I get out of bed myself and head downstairs to my case for some clothes and my toiletry bag.
