I get off the train at London and give myself a couple of minutes to come round properly. I slowly make my way through the crowd and make my way out of the exit at the station. "Where to?" The taxi driver asked as I climbed into the taxi. I quickly give him my address and slump back in my seat. This hangover is kicking in.
"Here you go miss." The taxi driver speaks up a short while later. "Thanks mate." I say and pay the driver, before opening the door and getting out. "LILI!" I hear as I search for my keys, I guess I don't need them after all. "Hey!" I grin as Kyra grabs me in a pick up hug. "Missed me?" I tease. "Damn, it's been the longest weekend. I'm so glad you're home and not making me sad with all them insta posts you made." Kyra admitted. "Sad?" I questioned with my eyebrows raised. "Well, you should have been here, but you were there. So yeah pretty sad I would say." Kyra explains and puts me down. "Ohhh, I see. You've been a little green eyed monster. Well I'm back now, so you have me and my little hangover all to yourself." I laugh. "Late one?" Kyra grins "3am..." I shake my head with a laugh. "I think I was still drunk on the train but I slept most the way back." I admit.
"You need a smoothie, come on. My treat. Let's head out." Kyra suggests. "Come on then." I grin. We walk in the afternoon sun, my sunglasses firmly on my face. Kyra laughs and pokes my ribs. "Self inflicted, Lils." "Kyra Lillee cooney-cross. Don't make me break that finger." I try to hold back my smirk and look serious but fail miserably. "Wait you full named me. That's mean." Kyra pouts. "Look I know it's hard... behave." We both erupt into laughter.
We find seats at a table outside the place that does fruit smoothies. "So what did you get up to while I was gone?" I asked as we read through the menu. "Nothing. Not one thing, I went to bed at like 7pm last night... I didn't leave my bed till this morning." Kyra shrugged, I could tell she wasn't joking this time. "Really? Didn't you visit mini?" I ask. "Her and Clara took a holiday with Harper." Kyra frowned "Kyra I'm so sorry. I'm here now." I reach out for her hand comfortingly, she holds it tightly. "I'm so glad you're back... when I got home and you weren't there I really didn't think you'd be coming back." I inwardly frown "It'll take a lot more than Katie McCabe to scare me away." I reassured as the waiter took our order. I hadn't really looked properly at the menu, instead I focused all my attention on Kyra. "I'll have the same as her please." I say as he looked at me. He gave a polite look and went off inside with our order. We soon received our order.
"Ky?" "Yeah??" She asked looking up innocently. "Smile for me? I'm gonna put you on my insta." I chuckled. Kyra smiles.
