Val called my dad, Alana, and the other parents to come to his house. When they asked why, he said they needed to see for themselves. So, the girls' parents, my dad, and Alana arrived to find out why Val needed them at his house. Elias and Tori ushered us into the kitchen so Val could talk to our parents.
We hid by the kitchen and living room opening and eavesdropped on the conversation.
"Where are the kids, Val?" My dad asked.
"They're in the kitchen," Val said.
"Okay. Why are they in the kitchen?" Tom asked.
"There was a slight incident earlier."
"What incident?" Luke said.
"We'll let you see for yourselves. Okay. You can bring the kids in!" Val yelled to his parents.
The ten of us entered from the kitchen into the living room and stopped. The girls' parents and mine whirled around and stared at us as their jaw dropped in shock. I stood beside Tino while the girls stood beside their respective guys.
We exchanged glances and smirked while the adults stood before us, speechless. How do you explain your appearance as your former self?

After the initial shock wore off, West argued with Grace. "I can't believe you!"
"What did I do?" Grace asked.
"You couldn't leave well enough alone. You had to stir the pot."
"I had my reasons for sending certain people back. But I didn't have anything to do with this." Grace waved her hand at us.
"Then how do you explain their appearances changing to their former selves?"
"How the hell should I know? It's not like I could foresee this happening." Grace shrugged.
My dad huffed in annoyance.
"Can someone explain what the hell is happening before West pops a blood vessel?" Tom asked.
"I can explain this situation," Serena said.
"Who are you?" Luke asked.
"Oh, her?" Rafe pointed at Serena. "She's the crazy medium who Val dragged me with him to figure out what was happening to our kids."
Serena raised her brow and pursed her lips.
"Raphael!" Ma exclaimed.
Rafe shrugged as I shook my head.
"Excuse Raphael. He lacks a filter," Romeo said.
"No shit," Pat muttered.
"I'm curious to hear what Val's bestie has to say," Marty said, climbing over the couch's arm and sitting down.
Dad rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"Go ahead, Serena," Ma coaxed.
"When Natalia fused the souls, I warned her there could be side effects like medication," Serena said.
"What do you mean side effects?" West knitted his brows in concern.
"There's always balance with the spiritual world. Unless you understand it, you shouldn't mess with it."
"But that doesn't explain this situation," Alana said, shaking her head.
"When you deal with souls, you must be careful. When Natalia bound the two souls together, the stronger soul absorbed the weaker one. Essentially, your past family members absorbed your children's souls."
