As the days passed and Seungcheol settled into his role as head Alpha, he recounted how much as he enjoyed sharing the Alpha den with Vernon, Mingyu, Wonwoo, and Seungkwan.
But he knew there was something he had to do.
Jeonghan stood at the edge of the clearing, his eyes following Seungcheol as he made his way across the terriotry towards the leaders den.
The den, nestled between two ancient oak trees, had been a symbol of leadership and security for the pack. Its abandonment had left a void, both physically and emotionally.
Jeonghan never stayed in it during his entire time as leader, he couldn't bring himself to do so.
Seungcheol paused at the entrance of the den, he turned to look at Jeonghan, who stepped forward, the weight of the moment evident in his gaze.
Jeonghan nodded in understanding, "You want to move in there." Jeonghan spoke as Seungcheol nodded slightly.
"Yes. I think it's time. Not to erase the past, but to show the pack that we're moving forward, together." Seungcheol said as Jeonghan fell silent.
Seungcheol's eyes softened as he turned to fully face Jeonghan. "I understand the weight of this place. But for the pack to move forward, we need to reclaim what was lost. I need to show them that I am here to stay, that I am committed to leading them." He said gently.
Jeonghan nodded.
Seungcheol placed a hand on Jeonghan's shoulder. "You've done well in holding the pack together, Jeonghan. I can see the respect they have for you. We'll lead them together." He said.
That night, Seungcheol made his decision known to the rest of the pack, and they all agreed and suported the idea of Seungcheol moving into the leader den.
So with that, Seungcheol gathered his belongings and made his way to the leader's den. The den felt both familiar and foreign as he stepped inside.
As he settled into his new surroundings, Seungcheol couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over him. This den was more than just a place to sleep; it was a symbol of the pack's resilience and determination to move forward, united as one.
Outside, Jeonghan watched as Seungcheol settled into the den. A sense of peace washed over him. For the first time in a long while, he felt hopeful. The pack had a leader again, one who was strong, confident, and determined.Seungcheol's presence in the den was a promise of stability and leadership, a beacon of hope for the future. The leader's den was no longer a symbol of abandonment and loss. It was a place of new beginnings and endless possibilities.
