Eighty Five

Minho listened to Dino's entire story as the 2 walked hand in hand.

"Sorry, that was alot." Dino chuckled sadly. "I guess, I just never had anyone to truly talk to about this." Dino added.

"It's okay, you don't have to apologize." Minho said. "I know the feeling, trust me." Minho added.

"You do?" Dino asked as Minho nodded.

"I... I used to wear a muzzle too." Minho admitted.

Dino's eyes widened in surprise. "You did?" Dino said as Minho nodded sadly "What? Why?" he asked softly.

Minho's gaze dropped to the ground, unable to meet Dino's eyes as he spoke. "The elders council of my pack believed I was too aggressive, too wild." Minho said.

Dino felt a surge of anger rise within him as he listened to Minho's words.

He knew firsthand the pain and humiliation of being forced to wear a muzzle, and the thought of Minho enduring the same injustice, and to wrongly be called aggressive too?!

"Minho," Dino said. "I want you to know that you're not aggressive. I've seen the kindness and compassion in your actions, the way you care for those around you."

"But what if they were right?" Minho asked, finally looking up at the younger wolf.

"They weren't," Dino said firmly. "We haven't know eachother that long. But I can say in full confidence that you're one of the kindest, most gentle souls I've ever known. You've shown me nothing but kindness since the day we met." He said.

Minho just nodded as Dino pulled him into a tight hug. "Now, lets get back before our leaders come looking for us." Dino suggested.

"Yeah, we should." Minho nodded, giving Dino a small smile.
