Thirty

After the tense encounter with the rival pack, Woozi returned to the camp feeling a heavy weight on his shoulders.

The adrenaline that had carried him through the confrontation now left him feeling drained and overwhelmed.

He sat down at the bottom of the stairs leading to his den, trying to calm his racing thoughts.

Hoshi noticed Woozi's distress and made his way over. He approached quietly, sitting down beside Woozi without a word. For a moment, they sat in silence.

"Woozi," Hoshi said softly, breaking the silence. "I heard about what happened." He said. "You did really well out there."

Woozi let out a shaky breath, his eyes focused on the ground. "I don't know, Hoshi. It was so intense. I felt like something bad was going to happen." Woozi said.

Hoshi reached out and placed a comforting hand on Woozi's shoulder. "Hey, look at me," he said gently.

"Nothing is going to happen." Hoshi continued. "You guys ALL stood your ground, that's not easy, especially with a rival pack threatening us. It takes a lot of courage." Hoshi added.

Woozi sighed, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly. "I just... I never expected to be in a situation like that. It was overwhelming." He addmitted.

Hoshi nodded in understanding. "It's completely normal to feel overwhelmed. But you handled it better than you think. And remember, you're not alone. We're all here to support each other." Hoshi said.

Woozi managed a small smile. "Thanks." He said quietly.

"Now, how about we take a nap and clear our heads a bit? Sometimes it helps." Hoshi suggested.

Woozi's smile grew a bit wider at the mention of sleep. "That sounds like a good idea." He said.

While falling alseep, Hoshi kept the conversation light, talking about their shared memories and plans for the future.

With each minute, Woozi felt the weight of the day's events lifting, replaced by a growing sense of calm and reassurance.

By the time they woke up, Jun and Dk were already in the room, both ready to also comfort Woozi.
