The pack was all gathered at the Alpha den, since it was the closet spot to where Seungcheol met the council.
"I can't believe Seungcheol stood up to the council like that," Mingyu said, he knew Seungcheol didn't fear speaking his mind.
He's done it once before when he had talked to the council about Dino's muzzle situation.
"It takes courage to challenge the traditions of the elders. But Seungcheol did it without hesitation." Jun added.
"Do you think the council will try to retaliate? What if they try to punish Seungcheol for his defiance?" Seungkwan asked worriedly.
"Then we'll stand by him. We'll face whatever consequences come our way together." Minghao said.
As Seungcheol returned back to the dens, he pack greeted him with a chorus of howls and cheers.
"Thank you, everyone," he said chuckled sincerly. "But there's no need for such fanfare. I only did what I felt was right for our pack."
"But you stood up to the council for us," Joshua said. "That takes courage, Seungcheol."
"We're lucky to have you as our leader, Seungcheol." Jeonghan said as Seungcheol sat down next to him.
Seungcheol's smile widened, a sense of warmth filling his chest at their words. "Thank you, all of you," he replied. "I couldn't ask for a better pack." He smiled.
.
A few days passed by before the council had summoned Seungcheol to their terriorty. Leaving the pack on edge.
"What is this about again?" Jeonghan asked. "What more could they want about our packs relationships?" He asked the leader.
"It's not just that. They found out about our hunt training. The elders aren't pleased that I'm teaching the Omegas to hunt." Seungcheol sighed.
"What's their problem? We're stronger and more united because of it." Mingyu asked angirly.
"They're stuck in their old ways. They don't see the benefits like we do." Seungkwan huffed, crossing his arms.
Seungcheol raised a hand to calm them. "I know you're upset. But the council has authority, and we have to atleast address their concerns." He admitted.
"Are they going to force you to stop? Are they going to take you away from us?" Woozi asked worriedly.
"Listen everyone. I'm not going to abandon you. I promised to lead this pack, and I intend to keep that promise." Seungcheol reassured as he placed a hand on Woozi's arm.
"But what if they try to make you leave? What if they don't understand?" Jun added.
"Then I'll make them understand. I'll explain why this is important for our pack. I'll fight for what's right." Seungcheol declared.
