Sixty Six

It was currently night time, Jeonghan and the other pack members were gathered around a fire, the air thick with tension and anticipation. It had been days since Seungcheol had left to confront his father, and the uncertainty of his fate weighed heavily on their hearts.

Jeonghan's eyes scanned the horizon for any sign of their leader. Joshua, stood close by, when suddenly, a rustle in the distance drew their attention.

Everyones head turned towards the sound. Jeonghan, Mingyu and Wonwoo quickly standing infront of their pack members.

Seungcheol limped into the clearing. "Seungcheol!" Jeonghan called out, being the first to reach him, his face a mixture of relief and worry.

"What happend are you okay?" Jeonghan asked, his eyes wide with concern as he took in Seungcheol's battered appearance.

The leader moved slowly, his body marked with cuts and bruises.

Jeonghan concern worsend as he helped Seungcheol lower himself to the ground.

Seungcheol managed a weak smile, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "I'm okay," he reassured them, though his voice was strained with pain. "It's just a scratch. It was a tough fight."

The rest of the pack hurried to help him. Mingyu and Wonwoo moved to support him, helping him to a seat near the fire. Joshua brought a water flask, while Hoshi and DK began tending to his wounds with supplies from their stash.

"We were worried sick," Seungkwan said. "We didn't know if you were going to make it back." He admitted.

"I couldn't let you down," Seungcheol said softly. "You're my family. And I'll do whatever it takes to protect you."

Jeonghan getnyl cupped Seungcheol's cheek. "It's okay, you can rest now. We'll take care of you."

Seungcheol nodded, wincing slightly as DK applied a soothing salve to a particularly nasty cut.

As Hoshi and Dk finished cleaning him up, Seungcheol felt his eyes closing, despite the pain and exhaustion that threatened to overwhelm him.

And as he drifted into a restless sleep, he felt a sense of peace settle over him, knowing that he was finally home.
