The next morning, before any of the other pack members woke up, Jeonghan and Seungcheol were up.
"Want to tell me what's on your mind?" Jeonghan asked gently.
Seungcheol sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I've been thinking about the hunts, between Jun fainting due to exhaustion and with DK getting hurt. It made me question if we should keep letting the omegas join the hunts." Seungcheol admitted.
"Are you worried about their safety?" Jeonghan asked, placing a hand on Seungcheol's arm.
Seungcheol nodded. "Exactly. I know they're capable, but the risks... I don't want to see any of them hurt. DK's injury was a close call."
Jeonghan leaned back, considering Seungcheol's words. "The omegas are an essential part of our pack. They have proven they are skilled in their own right and contribute significantly during hunts now." Jeonghan pointed out.
"I know you're right. But I can't shake the thought of what could happen. Especially after what just happened with DK." Seungcheol said.
"I understand your concern. It's natural to want to protect them. But remember, they're stronger than we often give them credit for." Jeonghan said.
Just then, Minghao approached, having overheard part of the conversation. "Seungcheol, Jeonghan, may I speak with you?" He asked.
Seungcheol nodded, gesturing for Minghao to join them. "Of course."
Minghao sat down. "I understand you're worried about our safety, especially after what just happened. But hunting is more than just a task for the omegas." Minghao begin.
"It's a way to contribute and feel connected with the pack. I fear taking that away would do more harm than good." Minghao explained.
"I don't want to make anyone feel excluded. I just want to make sure everyone is safe." Seungcheol said, agreeing with Minghao's words.
Minghao nodded. "We all do. Maybe we can create a different plan?" Minghao asked as both leader agreed.
Later that day, DK, with a bandage on his face, approached Seungcheol. "Seungcheol, I heard from Jeonghan what you were saying. I appreciate your concern, but I don't want to be sidelined. I want to help, to contribute." DK said honestly.
Seungcheol smiled at DK, nodding in agreement. "And you will. We just have to take a different apporach." Seungcheol said. "I will not sideline or exclude anyone."
In the end, they all came to an agreement, the omega's would only hunt once a week for the time being, and would bring one of the Alpha's with them.
