Telling Jeonghan his plan was hard, but telling the rest of the pack? That was just as hard.

"I need to talk to all of you about something important," Seungcheol said. It felt like he had been saying these words a lot recently. "It's about my father."

"By now, my father's old pack has probably told my father about this pack and our location. And it's only a matter of time until he comes down here himself." Seungcheol admitted.

"So, for the sake of the pack, and to end this once and for all. Our best best is to confront him directly before he even steps foot on our territory." Seungcheol said.

"So, what's the plan? We take him down together?" Hoshi asked.

Seungcheol shook his head, a pained expression crossing his face. "No, Hoshi. This is something I have to do alone."

"Seungcheol, you don't have to do this alone. We're a pack. We face our challenges together." Joshua said worriedly.

"I know, and I appreciate that more than you know. But this is a personal matter, one that I need to resolve myself. It's the only way to ensure that my father understands he can't interfere with our lives ever again." Seungcheol said.

"We understand. But you must promise to come back to us safely." Jun said after a moment of silence.

Seungcheol's gaze softened as he looked at Jun, then at the rest of the pack. "I promise.  But I need you all to trust me and for you all to stay here, to protect our territory and each other, keep the pack strong while I'm gone."

"We'll keep things together here, Seungcheol. You can count on us." Dino said, trying his hardest to stand tall and not let his nerves get the best of him.

Seungcheol smiled, pride swelling in his chest. "I know I can. You all mean the world to me, and I wouldn't be here without your support. I promise I'll return as soon as I can."

"We'll be waiting for you, Seungcheol." Vernon reassured.

As the pack members nodded in agreement, Seungcheol felt a surge of determination flow through him.

He knew that confronting his father wouldn't be easy, but it's what he had to do for his pack. With a final glance around the circle, Seungcheol took a deep breath and prepared to leave. "Stay safe, all of you. I'll be back soon." He said.

He turned to Jeonghan, pulling his mate into his arms. "I will be back soon." He whispered.

"You better." Jeonghan said, holding onto his mate tightly. "I love you Seungcheol, do you hear me?" He whispered.

Seungcheol pulled back in shock. "I do." Seungcheol nodded as he pulled Jeonghan into a long kiss, not caring if the entire pack was watching.

"I love you, Yoon Jeonghan. With all that I am." Seungcheol said. "And I will come back to you. To our family." He said.

As he turned and began his journey into the night, the pack watched him go, their hearts filled with a mixture of concern and unwavering support.
