That evening, Han's mind was elsewhere. He knew he needed to address what had happened earlier with Mingyu. Espically after the long he had with Felix. He truly didn't want any lingering tension between them.
After a moment of hesitation, Han stood up and walked over to where Mingyu was sitting, a little apart from the rest of the pack.
"Mingyu, can we talk for a minute?" Han asked nervously.
Mingyu nodded, gesturing for Han to sit next to him. "Of course, Han." He smiled.
"I wanted to apologize for earlier. I know I came off as overprotective and maybe even a bit aggressive. It wasn't fair to you." Han said sadly.
Mingyu's expression softened. "I understand, Han. You're protective of your packmates. There's no need to apologize for that." Mingyu said.
Han shook his head. "No, I do need to apologize. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. It's just... when I saw you carrying Felix, I got this overwhelming urge to protect him. I've always been this way, even before joining this pack." Han said.
He paused. "I'm actually older than Felix by one day. But despite I've always felt responsible for looking after Felix - and anyone else I care about. It's just a part of who I am."
"I see. You're a natural protector." Mingyu said. "Like an Alpha born into the rank of an Omega." He added.
"Yeah, I guess we can put it that way." Han said. "So, I just wanted to I'm sorry for how I acted and I hope you can forgive me."
Mingyu nodded, placing a hand on Han's shoulder. "Ofcourse I can Han. And if you ever need to talk about anything, I'm here. We're all here for each other." Mingyu smiled.
Han smiled. "Thank you so much Mingyu. That means a lot."
