A few days later, Seungcheol invited Woozi on another morning patrol. This time with Jeonghan and Dino coming with them.

The experience of the previous patrol had instilled a new sense of confidence in Woozi, and he was eager to prove himself again.

As they reached the edge of their territory, Seungcheol suddenly stopped, his eyes narrowing as he detected unfamiliar scents.

Jeonghan and Dino picked up on it too. Woozi's heart began to race, his ears twitching as he tried to make sense of the new smells.

"Something's not right," Seungcheol muttered, scanning the area with sharp eyes. "Stay close, and be ready for anything." He said to the others who nodded.

They continued cautiously, following the scent trail until they emerged into a small clearing. There, they were met with an alarming sight: a group of wolves from a somewhat neighboring pack.

Wonwoo had told Seungcheol about this pack, they were led by an imposing Alpha known for his aggressive nature, and right now, they were on their land.

"Should we go back to the dens?" Woozi asked, the 2 eldest members, he knew Seungcheol - even Jeonghan could handle themselves.

But an omega and young beta against a group of mostl agressive alphas, could only end badly.

"No, we don't know how many more are lurking around here." Jeonghan said. "Just stay behind us and do not let go of eachother okay." Jeonghan ordered as the 2 nodded.

Seungcheol stepped forward. "This is our territory. State your business here." He commanded.

"We're just passing through. Don't get in our way." One of the Alpha sneered.

Jeonghan moved to stand beside Seungcheol. "You know that's not how things work. Respect the boundaries, or we'll have a problem."

The rival Alpha laughed, a harsh, grating sound. "You think you can tell us what to do? We're not afraid of you."

Seungcheol's eyes hardened, his voice steady and unwavering. "We're not here to fight. We can discuss this like reasonable wolves, or things can get ugly. The choice is yours." He said.

The rival Alpha snarled, stepping closer until he was nearly nose-to-nose with Seungcheol. "There's nothing to discuss. We go where we please."

Before Seungcheol could respond, Jeonghan spoke up, his tone icy. "You've been warned. Leave now, or face the consequences."

Dino and Woozi held onto eachother tightly, for a moment, it seemed as though the rival Alpha might attack.

But with a final growl, he turned away. "This isn't over. We'll be back." He said.

As the rival pack retreated, Seungcheol let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. He turned to Woozi and Dino, cupping both of their cheeks "You 2 did well." He said.

The 2 nodded, their hearts still pounding. "Thanks, Seungcheol. I'm just glad we avoided a fight." Dino said.

Jeonghan sighed, his expression softening. "We need to be prepared. They'll come back, and we have to be ready." He said.

Seungcheol nodded in agreement. "I'll tell Mingyu and Wonwoo that we'll strengthen our patrols and make sure everyone is alert. This is our territory, and we won't let anyone take it from us." Seungcheol said.
