Aari's mind raced, trying to reconcile the past with the present. Theo—her ex-lover, the one whose memories still lingered in the corners of her thoughts, now stood before her. His presence evoked a tumultuous whirlwind of memories—the passion, the pain, and the scars that never fully healed.

She turned to face him, her gaze meeting his with a mixture of apprehension and unresolved questions. Theo's eyes, once familiar and captivating, now held a hint of remorse mingled with desire.

"Why are you here?" Aari managed to whisper, her voice betraying the turmoil within.

Theo's expression softened, his hand reaching to gently cup her cheek. "I've missed you, Aari," he confessed, his voice laced with regret. "I know I hurt you, but I've never stopped thinking about you."

Aari hesitated, her heart racing as Theo moved closer, closing the distance between them. His hand trailed down her neck, sending shivers down her spine.

"I... I don't know," Aari stammered, her resolve weakening as Theo's touch stirred up memories she had tried to forget.

Theo's lips found her neck, his touch both familiar and provocative. "Say you don't miss me," he whispered, his voice husky against her skin.

"I..." Aari began, her breath catching as Theo's kisses grew more insistent, his closeness overwhelming her senses. She moaned softly, unable to deny the lingering desire he ignited within her.

Theo's caress deepened, his fingers exploring the curves of her body with a familiarity that unsettled and excited her. "Tell me you don't feel this," he urged, his voice a seductive whisper in her ear.

Aari struggled to find her voice amidst the rush of conflicting emotions. "I... can't," she admitted, her eyes closing briefly as Theo's embrace tightened, drawing her closer.

Their lips met in a passionate kiss, the intensity of their connection reigniting a flame she had tried to extinguish. Aari melted into his embrace, torn between the haunting memories of their past and the intoxicating pull of their reunion.

As they kissed, Aari's mind raced with uncertainty. Could she trust Theo again, despite the pain he had caused? Was she ready to risk her heart once more for the possibility of a future together?

In that moment, as Theo held her close, Aari's defenses crumbled. The magnetic pull of their shared history was undeniable, leaving her questioning whether she could resist the allure of their past or if history would repeat itself once more.

Theo's lips lingered against Aari's, the taste of their reunion bittersweet with unresolved emotions. Aari, caught between longing and caution, felt herself succumbing to Theo's magnetic pull.

"Theo," she whispered, her voice a mix of desire and uncertainty. "You hurt me before. How can I trust that things will be different now?"

Theo pulled her closer, his gaze intense yet pleading. "I've changed, Aari. I know I've made mistakes, but being without you made me realize how much I need you. Give me a chance to show you."

Aari hesitated, but Theo's words stirred a flicker of hope within her. His touch was as persuasive as his words, each caress erasing doubts she had harbored.

"I... I want to believe you," she admitted softly, her fingers trembling as they traced the contours of his face.

Theo smiled, a mixture of relief and anticipation in his eyes. "Then let me prove it to you," he murmured, his breath warm against her skin.

He glanced at the time on his watch and then back at Aari. "I'm staying at the hotel. Let's go there. My staff will collect your things from home. And while we're here, maybe we could shop for clothes. I'd love to dress you... and undress you," he teased, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Aari blushed at his boldness, feeling a rush of excitement mixed with nervousness. "I need to tell my sister. She'll be worried," she insisted, her voice wavering slightly.

Theo pulled her into another deep kiss, his lips conveying reassurance and longing. "Of course, love. Whatever you need to do. But remember, I have a meeting. I'll see you at 7 PM," he said, his voice low and persuasive.

Before leaving, Theo gently took Aari's phone from her hand, quickly unlocking it with the familiar password—her date of birth. He unblocked his number and renamed his contact as "Love."

"Let's not do anything to upset me, darling," he whispered, a hint of possessiveness underlying his words.

With that, Theo left, making a quick call to his staff to ensure Aari was safely taken care of and brought back to the hotel. Aari watched him go, torn between the thrill of their reunion and the cautionary voice in her mind.

As she prepared to face her sister and make arrangements, Aari couldn't deny the stirring hope that maybe, just maybe, Theo was sincere this time—that their love story could rewrite itself with a different ending.

Aari's mind was a storm of emotions as she made her way home. Once inside, she found her sister, Maya, waiting for her.

"I saw Theo," Aari blurted out, her heart still racing.

Maya's eyes widened. "Aari, that's not a good decision. You haven't healed. You still have feelings for two guys."

Just then, Aari's phone rang. It was Seb. She hesitated but answered.

"Seb, I need to tell you something. I'm... I'm getting back with Theo," she said, her voice trembling.

There was a long pause on the other end. "Aari, are you serious? After everything? This isn't right," Seb began, his tone a mix of disappointment and frustration.

Before Aari could respond, her phone buzzed with another call. Theo.

"I'll talk to you later, Seb," she said quickly.

"But Aari, wait, I need to—" Seb's voice cut off as she switched to Theo's call.

"Hi baby," Theo's voice was warm but demanding. "Why was your phone busy? Who were you talking to? Is it more important than me?"

"I was speaking with Mom," Aari lied smoothly, knowing the chaos mentioning Seb would cause. "I'll see you in an hour."

She dressed quickly and left for the hotel, trying to suppress the anxiety gnawing at her. When she arrived, the room was beautifully decorated with flowers and candles, her favorite mudcake on the table. A note read, "I'll see you soon, baby."

Aari smiled, feeling a flicker of happiness. Theo always knew how to make her feel special. Her phone rang again—Seb.

"I'm at the hotel," Aari said hurriedly. "We'll talk tomorrow."

But Seb was insistent. "I'm in the city. I'm coming to meet you right now."

"No, Seb, that will make things worse," she protested, panic rising.

"I'll come to the hotel room," he countered, "and I'll leave when I want."

"Seb, please," Aari pleaded, trying to calm him down. But as she spoke, Theo entered the room. His eyes narrowed as he saw her on the phone.

"Seb, disconnect the goddamn call," Aari whispered urgently, her body frozen in shock.

Theo's expression darkened. "Who are you talking to, Aari?" he demanded, his voice low and dangerous.

Aari struggled to respond, her mind racing as Seb continued talking on the other end. The situation was spiraling out of control, and she could feel the weight of Theo's suspicion bearing down on her.

"I... I'll call you back," she managed to say, finally ending the call with Seb.

Theo stepped closer, his eyes locked on hers. "Aari, who was that?"

She swallowed hard, trying to steady her voice. "It was my mom," she lied, knowing it was only a matter of time before the truth would surface.

Theo's gaze didn't waver. "Aari, you know I don't like being lied to."

Just then, Aari's phone buzzed again. It was Seb calling.
