"The clan has been weakened," I announced quietly, looking around Derek's loft at everyone in the room. They'd forced me to sit in a chair despite my protests that I could stand. "The curfew and the mountain ash worked. They haven't had anything to hunt."

"What have they been eating if they haven't been able to hunt?" Stiles asked carefully, his eyes begging me to disprove the theory he had.

I offered him a weak smile, "They drank from me... a lot."

Paisley's hand dropped to my shoulder, and she squeezed it softly, speaking to the others to try to explain her own theory. "She's an evolved wolf. Her blood is more potent and more filling."

"They stored it," I added on softly, "I don't know how much of it they have exactly, but I doubt they'll be starving anytime soon."

"Okay, uh..." Stiles cleared his throat, hesitantly shuffling forward before his opened his arms, awkwardly trying to figure out a good angle, "I'm gonna hug you right now."

I snorted softly, patting his back gently as he engulfed me, "I'm okay."

His grip on me tightened, "Of course you are. You're back with us."

"While this is all sweet and nice," Peter jumped in, "I'd like to get back to the current problem at hand. We have a vampire infestation, and most of our man power had once again crawled off to the ends of the earth."

I noted that he sent Isaac a pointed stare as he spoke, a prickle of amusement blooming inside me as the taller werewolf pulled his lips back into a sneer in response.

"Is there anything else you managed to find out during your... unfortunate disappearance—"

"Just call it a kidnapping," I cut Derek off before sighing, "I was told some things, but I don't know if we'd be wise to trust the words of a bloodsucker."

"Which bloodsucker?" Scott called out, his face hesitant as I met his eyes. He was the reason I'd been found, but we hadn't had a chance to talk about it since I was brought home two days ago. He'd heard my roar in a way that only an alpha could.

"Gianna Juarez," I revealed, offering him a miniscule smile, "she wasn't as bad as the rest. She was just there. She tried to apologise to me."

"Do you believe her?" Scott pushed, "After everything they've done?"

I thought carefully, debating the two weeks over in my head, "Jace was cruel. Ellie was insane. Pittore... Hannah came around a few times to taunt me, but Gianna's words came true. Finn didn't visit, and she never hurt me."

"You didn't see Finn?" Allison frowned, "Where was he then?"

"I think he was there, I just don't think he wanted to see what Pittore was doing," I explained slowly. "Gianna said that Finn doesn't trust Pittore, and neither does she. They need him for strength, but there is a divide in terms of the 'him' versus the 'them'." I looked across the room, meeting Scott's eyes again, "I think... you were right about Finn being... half a decent person."

"Well, let's not be hasty now. He was still part of the leeches club that kidnapped you," Peter jumped in, forcing out a short laugh. "Not feeding from a kid doesn't make him a half decent person. It just means he'd rather have Taco Bell."

"Someone left signs," Allison piped up, "signs that we ended up following back to the school, and they kept appearing so we wouldn't leave again." She met my eyes, "We thought your scent was there because of the clothes in your locker. Someone made sure that we figured out that we were wrong. Someone made us stick around long enough to hear your growl."
