KOREY

"Lies, I have never once in my life behaved erratically," I muttered to myself as I read through the file I'd stolen from Ms. Martin's office. I'd finally decided that I wanted to take a look at it... I just didn't necessarily have to agree with her professional opinion. I just wanted to know what she thought of me and what she was telling Chris.

I paced around my room as I read, my eyes scanning over the words, "Shows clear signs of her diagnosis... psychiatric disorder, post traumatic— how dare you. The only psych I am is psychotic." I turned sharply before I hit my desk. "Experiences emotionally and physically distressing memories but refuses to discuss the traumatic incident— yes, because it's so easy to explain vampires, Ms. Martin."

I stopped shortly as a single line caught my attention, "Tendency to disassociate from reality to prevent facing conflicting or difficult emotions... well fuck you too." I scoffed, snapping the file closed and tossing it back onto the hoard of papers and sheets on my desk, "That's such bullshit."

I let myself fall back, landing on my bed harshly and spreading my arms out wide as I stared up at the ceiling.

It wasn't that I didn't know something was wrong me, I knew. I just didn't think it was as severe as Ms. Martin made it out to be. I was a werewolf, big problems healed immediately within my body. The problems I had were purely mind games I'd set up myself; I had taken on too much shit in a small period of time, and I was still working through it.

"I am getting better, though," I mumbled, "I'm winning, and they're all gone."

A crash sounded on the other side of the wall before I heard a loud thump followed by heavy silence.

Not all the monsters were gone just yet.

ALLISON

"Allison, help!" Lydia pleaded with me, her eyes desperate as she tried to fight off Kali's hand from her throat. "Allison!"

"Allison!"

I turned sharply, my heart pounding harshly against my ribs as I caught sight of the merged figure of Voltron wolf picking up both Scott and Isaac by their necks.

"Your... bow," Scott choked out, his eyes rolling back in his head as the merged wolves raised him in the air.

I stumbled backwards, my eyes falling to the ground as I looked around rapidly for my weapons. I found them resting against a tree, a bunch of arrows in a bag waiting for me. I snapped it up, quickly slipping one arrow into the bow and holding it up to aim it at the twins.

That was when I noticed the tremor in my fingers.

"Alli—" Korey's voice gasped out.

I turned to it, my eyes growing in size as I watched Deucalion hovering over her. His cane was stabbed into her shoulder and kept her pinned to the ground.

I tried to steady the arrow as best as I could, the arrow jerking around the more nervous I became. I fired the first arrow, and I watched it soar past Deucalion and fall to the ground.

My heart thumped faster as I reached for another arrow, aiming it all over again, but this time turning it to Kali. The arrow impaled the forest floor a few feet from me, but it missed her by a mile. "No, no, no..." I breathed out harshly, trying to force myself to calm down as my tremors grew worse.
