"Tracy expresses concern over extreme night terrors," I read out loud. "She fears she is losing control as she struggles to distinguish between her dreams and reality."

"That sounds a lot like what Liam and Lydia went through," Stiles muttered as he wrote on a clear board. He'd got it from the police station despite his dad's protests, and he'd compiled every fact we had onto it.

"Tracy has started experiencing somnambulism," I continued, sighing as I lowered the file from my face, "also known as sleepwalking."

"What is it?" Scott frowned at me, "What did you think of? You've got a look on your face as if you've figured something out."

I passed the file to Kira, who was closest to me, "It's all a theory, but if all of this has something to do with the dark and shadows. Night time has to be pretty important, too, right?"

"We've established that already," Stiles tapped the board with his marker.

"Okay, well," I huffed shortly, going up to him and taking the marker from his hand, "we keep calling these hallucinations nightmares, yeah?" I circled the word on the board before I drew a line off it, "Well, when do we have nightmares?"

"When you're asleep?" Malia frowned in confusion.

"Bingo," I nodded, writing the word 'sleep' down, "and most people sleep at night time when the shadows are most active so—" I underlined the words again before I whipped back around to them. "What if Tracy's sleepwalking isn't just sleepwalking? What if the shadows gain access to her when she falls asleep, and that's why she moves around? What if that's how they're connected?"

"Write it down," Stiles scrambled to grab the marker from me again, "write it down."

"If they're accessing people when they're asleep, why aren't there like thousands of people being controlled by the Black Mass then?" Kira countered, "What makes Tracy, Donovan, and Theo different from everyone else?"

I sighed heavily, turning to Isaac, "You followed Theo all morning. What did you get off him?"

"That he's a really dull guy," Isaac scoffed, "he went to school, went to every class, and then went straight home."

"What about emotionally?" Scott asked, "Did you get some kind of a reading on him?"

"So, back to the part where I said he was really, really dull, that was part of it," Isaac huffed before shrugging. "Either the guy can't feel things or he knows how to turn off his chemosignals because I got nothing all day."

"I noticed that on the pitch when he was staring at Liam," I mumbled, "he just didn't seem to have much of a presence. Kind of like he was there, but unless you were looking at him, you wouldn't know it."

"Like a shadow," Malia muttered lowly.

"We should put that down too," Scott nodded slowly, "if there's more of them out there, we need to look for people without an emotional presence and who are struggling to sleep."

"What about Donovan?" Stiles added on, "He's part of this too, and last I checked, his emotional presence was so strong, he blacked out a whole police station."

"He looked pretty aggressive in the footage," Scott mused, "maybe that's another trait the Black Mass look for."

"Theo likes to get aggressive too," Isaac piped up, "jury's still out on Tracy, but two out of three is a pretty good lead."
