The only lead they had was that Coco would be in the city children's home. So, after acting like Sherlock Holmes, Sami managed to get a location. He and Rosita would head there, while the others did whatever the others were doing, Sami was too distracted to work out what.

Daryl could see him. Sami was loosing it. He wasn't sure what loosing a child would do to Sami. Daryl knew the Commonwealth wouldn't kill kids. There was no need to. But it was still there, in the back of his mind, that something had happened Coco. He felt guilty, for getting Rachel, RJ and Judith back while Sami didn't have his child.

Sami could feel it himself. He couldn't even try comfort Rosita. He knew it would be stupid, but he couldn't even bring himself to try. They sat in the bus beside each other, getting weird looks from people who passed them, but he didn't notice. He was trying to map out the city in his mind.

Once they were finally on the train and moving, thanks to one of the prisoners who knew how to drive it, Rosita and Sami went over and over and over and over and over their plan, sitting in one of the carts.

"Hopefully, that'll get Mercer on our side." Rosita said as they went through it again. "As they work on Pamela, we head for Coco, heading through here."

"I still think we should take the estates." Sami said, looking at the map. "It's quicker."

"It's got more more money, which means more patrols. I told you that."

"Yeah, but I can just shoot them."

She shook her head. "You haven't properly shot since losing your finger. This is too important. We go quiet. We take this access road, it'll take us behind the children's home, we're going to go in behind it."

He sniffed, sitting straighter so he was leaning over the map, and looked at her. He was slowly getting back into autodrive. Where he just took things as they came and dealt with them later. Not having Coco at Alexandria knocked him out of it, but he was getting there. Soon he'd be able to just kill like a machine again, and then his family would be back together and he could be Sami again.

He tucked her hair behind her ear, leaving his hand on her cheek. "I love you."

She sighed, before kissing his hand quickly. "I love you, too. we're not taking the estates."

"Okay."

Rachel was sitting nearby, beside Daryl, watching them. She wasn't really taking them in, or listening to them. Just watching because there was nothing else.

"Why'd you do it?"

"Hm?" She looked at Daryl.

"Why'd you stand in front of them? Almost get yourself killed?"

She shrugged. "I . . . kept thinking of people. Carl. And . . . Glenn and Abraham. Carl wanted me to . . . help build. And I ran into the woods with you. I'm gonna . . . I'm gonna try. Build things and . . . have people other than Danny. And I didn't want it built on the blood of a family."

"Even if it's them?"

She nodded. "Even if it's them."

He tapped her shoulder. "I'm proud'a ya. Everyone is. Everyone would be."

She nodded slowly. "I really, um . . . miss people, sometimes."

"Come 'ere." He put his arm over her shoulders, as she rubbed her eyes. "I know."

Princess got in contact with Mercer through the radio, and managed to get a way into the city, through an old service tunnel to the subways under the city, meaning they could get right into the center without anyone seeing.
