"Giancarlo would have our heads if we did not tell him what happened, Signorina. And who knows, he might already have heard about it," Lorenzo said when she asked him to keep what happened a secret. When she looked at Valentina for assistance, she knew that her expression showed that she agreed with Lorenzo. It was clear that keeping this incident hidden would only lead to more trouble.

"Do not forget that Sicily is a small island and our family has eyes everywhere. If word gets out about what happened, it won't be long before everyone knows. It's better to be honest with Giancarlo and face the consequences than to risk him finding out from someone else."

"What is it that I need to know?"

They all looked at where the voice came from and saw Giancarlo, accompanied by Favio, standing in the doorway.

His stern expression made it clear that he had overheard their conversation.

Lorenzo walked over to Giancarlo and took a deep breath before speaking: "I was careless and made the mistake of letting Signorina alone in the boutique. She was profiled and accused of shoplifting."

Yuri's eyes widened at that, and she quickly interjected. "That's not entirely true, Giancarlo. I insisted on going inside alone because I wanted time for myself, so I had Lorenzo and the others wait for me outside. He wanted to come with me, but I was the one who insisted on going alone."

Despite her explanation, Giancarlo is obviously not listening. His icy gaze is fixed on Lorenzo, and Giancarlo's anger seems to be directed towards him, as if he believes that it's his fault that it happened. Favio was also looking at his brother the same way, his expression mirroring Giancarlo's anger.

"I know I should've called Lorenzo when it happened, but I was scared that you would also come and you'd end up killing somebody there. It did not occur to me that either way you would find out."

At least Giancarlo's face softened at that, and he pulled her into a tight embrace.

"You were racially profiled in my territory, Yuri. And yes, you couldn't keep such a thing from me because you are important to me and I deserve to know when something like this happens to you."

Maybe she had been holding back her emotions all this time, but in that moment, Yuri couldn't help but let the tears flow.

"I am already upset, but do not add insult to injury by punishing Lorenzo for something that isn't his fault. If I did not insist on being alone, I know he wouldn't allow anyone to disrespect me like that. And another thing, Valentina came for me, so we were able to figure it out."

Giancarlo did not respond, as he is still fuming with anger. He clenched his fists, trying to control his temper, as it wouldn't do Yuri any good to see him like that, but the rage was consuming him.

He looked at Favio and the others and communicated with them silently. When Favio nodded his head, Giancarlo knew they were on the same page. Without saying a word, the others, including Valentina, left the room to give them some privacy.

"I would not punish Lorenzo, but do not expect me to do nothing about that place. I will burn down every last inch of it." Giancarlo seethed, and Yuri could only watch in silence as his anger intensified. The fire in his eyes matched the fury in his voice, leaving no doubt that he meant every word he said.

"Can we just go to the beach? I need some fresh air."

Giancarlo kissed her forehead before leading her out of the mansion. Yuri instantly cheered up, seeing the blue water and feeling the salt in the air.

"How was it like growing up in a place surrounded by water? Weren't you afraid of tsunamis or hurricanes?" Yuri asked, genuinely curious.

"Growing up near the water was actually quite peaceful. While there were occasional concerns about natural disasters, we learned to respect and prepare for them."

As they walked along the shore, she couldn't help but feel a sense of calm wash over her, momentarily forgetting about the anger and tension from earlier. The sound of crashing waves and the warmth of the sun on her skin provided a much-needed escape from the turmoil they had left behind.

She removed her sandals and let the sand slip between her toes, relishing in the sensation of the soft grains massaging her feet while Giancarlo started to strip off his clothes until he was left with his boxers that showed the bulge between his legs.

"You can go naked if you want. There aren't many people here who would be foolish enough to mess with my woman," Giancarlo said with a smirk, his voice filled with a mixture of possessiveness and protectiveness.

Yuri considered what he said for a moment, but instead of going fully naked, she decided to leave her underwear on. Giancarlo's gaze lingered on her chest for a moment before he pulled her into the water.

The coolness of the water against her skin sent shivers down her spine, heightening the anticipation between them. When Giancarlo took her to the deeper part, she curled her arms around his neck and pressed her body against his, feeling the warmth of his skin against hers.

"If I don't know better, I might mistake you for a siren, luring me deeper into the depths," Giancarlo whispered huskily, his lips brushing against her ear.

"You were the one who pulled me in here, remember?" she asked with a playful smile, but Giancarlo's response was to kiss her passionately, his lips claiming hers in a fiery embrace.

The water seemed to mirror their desire as ripples of pleasure coursed through their bodies.

She felt Giancarlo caressing her back, and in one snap, he had removed her bra. The instant the cool water touched her bare breasts, she gasped with a mixture of surprise and pleasure as her nipples hardened instantly.

"Fuck, you are so beautiful," Giancarlo whispered huskily, his voice laced with desire. He continued to explore her body, his hands tracing the curves of her waist and hips, igniting a burning need within her.

Giancarlo lifted her up effortlessly, devouring her breasts with his mouth, his tongue teasing and flicking against her sensitive skin. The sensation sent waves of pleasure coursing through her body, making her arch her back and moan in ecstasy.

"In a few months, these breasts will no longer be mine, so allow me to savor them while I still can."

Despite the water being cool, Yuri could feel the heat rushing to her cheeks as Giancarlo's words sank in.

From where they were, she saw someone approaching them, so she quickly pushed Giancarlo away, and when he was about to ask what was wrong, she pointed at the approaching figure.

"It seems like we have to cut this short. That's Favio."

Yuri nodded, but when she realized that her bra was nowhere to be seen, she felt a surge of panic. She quickly looked around, but it was nowhere in sight.

"I must find my bra before Favio arrives. Can you help me look?"

Giancarlo also looked around but he couldn't find it either.

"I'll just buy you a new one, but for now, let me cover you up," Giancarlo offered, and true to his words, they started to walk out of the water with Giancarlo in her front, covering her body.

Favio seemed to sense that something was wrong so as basic courtesy, he looked away and pretended not to notice the situation.

Giancarlo then grabbed his long-sleeved polo and put it on her, ensuring that she was properly covered.

"I am sorry to disturb you, but the donna demands Yuri's presence immediately. I think it's about the auction tonight," Favio started apologetically.

With what happened last time, Yuri almost completely forgot about it, so she quickly thanked Favio for reminding her of that.

"Tell the donna that Yuri is just going to be there shortly," it was Giancarlo who answered, and then, after a polite nod, Favio turned and left the two of them again.

"You could be honest with me. If you do not want to do it anymore, then you can tell me now," Giancarlo said with a concerned expression on his face as he knew that what happened last time might still be affecting her.

"Then what? Let them have more reason to hate me? Do not worry about me. I am going to make sure that that item gets the highest bid," she responded in a positive tone, although she knows that the probability of that happening is slim to none.
