Chapter 51.
The guests exchanged puzzled glances, comparing the two women. According to what they'd heard, one was the mistress, and the other was the wife. But seeing them now, it seemed implausible that the elegant woman who walked away could be a mistress.
Min Jun, sensing the commotion, approached the scene. However, by the time he arrived, the elegant woman had already turned her back and was walking away. Something about her seemed familiar, stirring a distant memory. He took a step forward, intent on following her, but Lee Ari grabbed his arm, holding him back.
"Min Jun, where are you going?" Lee Ari's voice was a mix of irritation and desperation.
"That woman... she looked familiar," Min Jun replied, his eyes still fixed on the retreating figure.
"You're imagining things. Stay here with me," she insisted, tightening her grip on his arm. Her anger and jealousy flared up again, masking her insecurity with a veneer of authority.
The guests, still abuzz with whispered speculations, watched the interaction. The contrast between the composed woman who had walked away and the agitated couple was striking. To the onlookers, the true nature of dignity and grace was becoming clear.

Ae-Cha moved with purpose towards Kim Jae-soo and his friends, her elegant demeanor masking the tumultuous emotions stirred by her encounter with Lee Ari. She smiled at her son, though the dissatisfaction lingered subtly in her expression.
"Eomma, is something wrong?" Kim Jae-soo asked, his keen eyes picking up on the slight tension in her smile.
She shook her head, her smile widening to reassure him. "No, Jae-soo, it's nothing you need to worry about." Her gaze shifted from her son to his friends, her eyes landing on Ji-Su who stood with a cup of juice in hand, and beside him, the older ger, Shin Young.
Her heart raced, pounding in her chest as she noticed the familiar cinnabar mark. The rose with tendrils extending from the left side of his mouth to his ear—it was unmistakable. It was the same mark her son, In-Soo, should have as an adult.
Almost in a trance, she found herself standing before Ji-Su, her fingers gently tracing the cinnabar mark on his face, the black suit making it even more pronounced. Ji-Su looked at her, puzzled but patient as if sensing the gravity of the moment.
Memories flooded back to Ae-Cha—snapshots of a distant past, a younger In-Soo, the hope she had clung to all these years. She couldn't speak, her throat tight with emotion. Tears welled up in her eyes, threatening to spill over.
Seeing his mother's distress, Kim Jae-soo quickly stepped forward "No, no," he thought, panicking as he quickly grabbed her hand to stop her from crying.
"Eomma, please..." he whispered urgently, aware of the crowd, and she was about to go on stage in less than an hour for her keynote speech, and he couldn't let her break down now. "We need you to stay calm right now." he whispered again.
Ae-Cha blinked, snapping back to the present. She nodded, swallowing hard to push back the tears. She glanced once more at Ji-Su, who looked back with a mixture of curiosity and concern. Kim Jae-soo kept a supportive arm around his mother, whispering words of comfort. Ae-Cha took a deep breath, drawing strength from her son.
Kim Jae-soo couldn't shake the suspicion that had taken root in his mind. Watching his mother's reaction to Ji-Su, he felt a strong sense of certainty. Could Ji-Su really be In-Soo, his long-lost brother?
