Excitement was all that coursed through your veins as you boarded your flight back to Korea. You had left the country after college to complete your studies in the US in hopes to become a doctor. Now that your studies were over, you were ecstatic to go back to your home country, more importantly back to your family and your boyfriend, Yangyang.
Doing long distance was not easy. Most of the days it killed you to only be able to talk to him virtually and not being able to hold him, kiss him or hug him. Now that you were going back, you were extremely excited to finally see him in person, after 4 long years and that too on his birthday.
Alongside this, what excited you the most was that he didn't know of your arrival. You had told him your studies were over successfully but not that you were coming over right after your last semester ended. You felt giddy, thinking about the possible reactions your boyfriend will have after seeing you standing on his doorstep after 4 years of not seeing each other.

The flight landed, and you quickly collected your luggage from the belt at the airport and ran out of the terminal, not caring about the weird stares people were probably giving you. You dropped your luggage and jumped into the arms of your brother.
"NAMI!!" Taehyun exclaimed with joy as he hugged the life out of you.
"Hyun, I missed you so much"
"I missed you too doofus"
"YAH! Talk nicely to me idiot. I'm older than you"
"BY TWO MINUTES"
"AND?"
"Aish kids stop bickering, Nami just came back. For once after seeing you two hug each other so tightly I thought you won't fight and wish each other like normal people. But who am I kidding?" Your father sighed shaking his head but soon broke out into a laugh as he looked at the pouting faces you both made.
"Honey it's okay. It's just the way they show love to each other. Nami wouldn't have ran upto him to hug him if she didn't love him as much as she does, and Taehyun wouldn't have hugged her the way he did if he didn't love her either." Your mother spoke, a wide smile on her face.
"Now come here my beloved daughter. Give your parents a hug" Your father spoke, opening his arms with your mom in unison.

After reached home, you couldn't help but feel tears brimming at the nostalgia of the place.
