Thomas(Your P.O.V)
Thomas does his best to be comforting. He really does try to make me feel better when I want to curl up into a ball and die at least once a month. It's just that when he does, it's always very hit or miss.

“I'll fight mother nature for you,”He said firmly.

“Okay, Thomas. Okay,”I nodded, leaning back and looking over at him. I wasn't even hurting or having any hellish side effects and he was already threatening violence on something that he couldn't fight. That's a pretty Thomas thing to do.

“Yeah. I’ll make her be nice.”

Rolling my eyes at his antics, I rested my head on his shoulder. Wrapping his arm around me, he pulled me closer while tracing his fingertips up and down my arm. “I could become a wizard too and get rid of it forever and ever?”He offered.

“Okay, Harry Potter,”I deadpanned, a teasing smile on my face despite my words.

“Well, I have always wanted to go to London, and I do like snakes,”He pointed out, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration as he appeared to be genuinely thinking about if he's a boy with an arch nemesis and magic powers.

I may not be suffering that badly right now, but if I am at least I have him to make living bearable.

Newt(His P.O.V)
I have a sister which really comes in handy sometimes. Now that I have a girlfriend I'm ahead of everyone. While Thomas still thinks telling Teresa to ‘just calm down’ is a good idea and Gally doesn't understand that he would love Brenda if she was slowly losing her sanity and her human self, I had it pretty much figured out. Telling her to calm down will only make it worse, I’ll love her if she is something other than a human since the real reason she's asking is to see if I love her unconditionally, she's going to take one of my fries, if she's hungry so am I because she doesn't want to be seen eating alone, and don't ask if she's on her period. Even if I accidentally see more than one pad in her purse, she can't seem to be full and has cravings, and I walk into her crying because of cute animal videos, you just don't ask. No matter how obvious, it's just not something to do.

Seeing as she was sobbing at a children's movie about fish and she had a pad hidden inside her jacket pocket, yeah. It's safe to assume that she's on her cycle right now.

When she was out of tears, I kissed her temple for a moment. Burying her face in my neck, she let out a noise I couldn't quite comprehend but sounded a little pained as she wrapped her arms around me.

“Do you want Advil? We were pretty close to the t.v, and it can give you headaches,”I offered despite the way that we were not close to said t.v.

“Yeah,”She nodded, pulling away. As I stood up, she laid her head back on the couch and subtly put her arms over her stomach, shutting her eyes.

Kissing her forehead again, I told her how much I love her before going to get her pain reliever. Walking into my bathroom, I moved my Zoloft to the side to see what I currently needed right behind it. Grabbing it, I headed back out to see her curled up in a ball, still keeping her eyes shut.

Turning off the light, I then headed back over to her. Sitting up again, she looked at me as I handed her a water bottle and two pills. Taking the cap off, she took them in one go before drinking more and more water until she finished it off. That's good. Hydration is a very important thing.

“I love you,”She whispered, a small smile on her face as she looked at me. Returning it, I grabbed the blanket from near us as I laid back on the couch. Curling up, she rested herself on top of me as I pulled the blankets over us.

“I love you,”She repeated again.

“I love you too,”I whispered, wrapping my arms around her. Cradling the back of her head as she rested her head on my chest, I smiled as she intertwined her legs in mine.
