Sonya(Your P.O.V)
I typically stay away from Halloween parties. Not for any real reason. They’ve just never been for me I guess. I always spent the holiday very casually.

Sonya knows people though. People having a bonfire party in the middle of the night, in the middle of the woods. She was also really excited about it so I did not feel like pointing out how that sounded like the perfect opportunity to sacrifice humans.

Just to make sure my girlfriend would actually return home to me, I tagged along, which she was thrilled with. She was going on and on about it in the car, which I found kind of charming. She also let me pick the music since she knows this isn't normally my thing, even if she didn't clarify that last part out loud.

It was definitely something to say the least. It was controlled, but a fire in the middle of pitch blackness is not subtle. I could see it from over mile away.

Up close as an entirely new ball game. It was just blazing, giving off so much heat that I took my jacket off in the first five minutes around it. The smoke made most things appear kind of hazy and was without a doubt going to stain my clothes with the scent.

Sonya was more than happy to be here anyways, holding my hand as she talked to other people and introducing me. Each time I have a polite wave while moving a little closer to the only person I was actually familiar with. I was practically leaning on her by the time she had shown me what felt like every person here but was realistically only a few.

“And now’s the really fun part,”She grinned, pulling me back towards the fire. It wasn't her usual grin either. It was almost relieved while also being excited, kind of like when she told me about tonight.

“I thought all of this was the fun part?”I pointed out, taking a seat next to her. She just gave me a halfhearted shrug as she handed me a stick that I accepted without a second thought. Or any thought for that matter.

“I mean it is, but life doesn't get better than s’mores, right?”She shrugged again, grabbing a stick of her own. Nodding in understanding, I glanced at everyone around me who were passing out marshmallows before looking back at Sonya who was handing one to me.

“Yeah. I guess life doesn't get better than s'mores,”I agreed as I took it.

This is definitely worth sticking around for.

Harriet(Her P.O.V)
“Are they done yet?”Y/N repeated.

“We just put them in five minutes ago. The cookies are not done yet,”I promised.

“Can't we just eat them half cooked?”She suggested.

“That's a health hazard,”I pointed out.

“So that's a no then?”

“Would you like to be sick?”

Rolling her eyes, she turned up the radio I had plugged in on the kitchen counter before walking over to me and holding her hand out, a goofy smile on her face. Rolling my eyes back, I accepted the offer anyway and put my arms around her shoulders. Holding my waist, she swayed back and forth with me, sliding on her fuzzy socks she had worn just for this occasion.

“Very fancy dance moves,”I teased, grabbing her hand and spinning her around. She laughed, a soft yet heartwarming sound, before pulling herself back into me, pressing her forehead against mine.

“I learned from the best,”She smiled.

“Sounds fancy. Do I know them?”I teased.

“Oh, you know her very well. Beautiful girl, super cool, kind of out of my league,”She played along.

“Between you and me, she thinks that you're very out of her league,”I corrected.

“Yeah?”

“Without a doubt,”I promised, pressing both my palms to her cheeks. Shutting her eyes, she leaned forward barely an inch, wrapping her arms tighter around my waist as she pressed her mouth against mine. With my arms around her shoulders, I kissed her back, savoring the feeling of her sweet, soft lips.

As I went to deepen the kiss though, the timer for the cookies went off, promising burnt dreams if we didn't stop.

“Continue this later?”She offered.

“You know me so well.”

Brenda(Your P.O.V)
I did not sign up for being lectured on how important safety is by Jorge when I started dating Brenda. At the same time, I’m not at all shocked. He’s a little unhinged sometimes, but even he knows the importance of proper safety measures. Even if it is just to go out and get candy from different neighborhoods. We had a plan to hit up the big money ones. I just hope they don't make it weird because we're not little kids, but we shall find out.

“We're gonna be safe, and we’re gonna stick together. You don't have to worry about us,”Brenda reassured him, adjusting her mask before tossing her pillowcase over her shoulder.

“You just have to be sure. You know-”
Before he could finish his statement the doorbell rang a few times, indicating another herd of excited trick-or-treaters were here. He sighed as he patted Brenda’s head, then mine as he walked past me. When he did we both looked at each other. She added a shrug with hers though before placing my hand firmly in herz and taking me through the garage and outside, so we could become one of the sugar desperate hooligans.

No. It's probably not how most teens are spending the holiday, but there isn't exactly an age limit on this. Why not enjoy it with your other, just as chaotic, half?

Teresa Agnes(Her P.O.V)
“Tess, is it ready yet?”Y/N called, popping into the kitchen.

“It's almost done,”I promised, looking back just as she wrapped her arms around me, hugging me from behind. Not bothering to hide my grin, I held her arms that were wrapped around my waist, trailing my arms up them as I kept watching my microwave.

“The movie’s are all set up for us on your laptop,”She told me, resting her head on my shoulder.

“All of them?”

“Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Neverending Story, and Beetlejuice are all ready to go for us,”She confirmed.

“And then we’ll fall asleep cuddling after eating way too much sugar?”I clarified.

“It wouldn't be a Halloween movie marathon without that,”She shrugged, placing a small kiss on my cheek. I lightly patted the top of her head before glancing back at the clock. Seeing as I had five seconds left, I quickly unwrapped her arms from around me and turned it off. Already on the next part, she went into the pantry and grabbed the marshmallows as I pulled both hot chocolate’s out with a towel to prevent burns. Maybe that's overkill, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

With both of them burning hot, steam rising out the cup, I set them on the counter. Picking one at random, Y/N dropped a fair amount of marshmallows in the mug before giving me the bag, leaning her elbows on the counter as she watched me do the same.

“Ready to go?”I asked. She nodded, taking a quick sip so her cup wouldn't spill on the way up the stairs. I followed suit before grabbing my mug and walking alongside her, my free hand in hers as we got ready for our night in.

With a bucket of candy on the porch to keep us safe from any tricks of course. We don't want a repeat of last year.
