The single Ion Flash that I used should be enough to get me back to the mainland at least... but I have such a bad feeling.
In the distance, I could finally start to see landfall. But the clouds above were starting to turn dark, and thunder rumbled in them.
There's no time to waste... I have to get there!
Mr. Hart's POV
Blood ran down my face as I dragged my damaged body to Dylan as fast as I could, and rain began falling from the clouds.
"D-Dylan!" I yelled out as I reached his body. "Hold on! Just hold on! We'll get you some help!"
I reached down to feel his neck, but my blood went icy cold when I didn't feel a pulse.
"Dylan!" Callie ran to my side. "Y-You can't go and die like this! You can't do this!"
"His heart... it's not beating..." I said, horror in my voice. "And there's no pulse..."
"He put up a good fight." Jin said as he glared at us, a wicked smile spread across his face. "So who's next? Who wants to be the next present for Braeden Wilson?"
Declan's POV
"Come on Declan!" Daniel wildly attacked me, slashing my legs and arms with the spikes all over his body. "I thought you were going to show me how wrong I was?!"
"A-Agh...!" I yelled out as he stabbed me in the leg, then smashed his head against mine, sending me flying into the ground.
The poison has spread so fast... my body is so stiff! I can't win this fight without DragonShift, but how do I even activate it?! He's giving me no time to even back away from him! And to make things worse... these burns on my arms are preventing me from even lifting them! Can I even go into DragonShift!
"Hyaaaahh!" Daniel yelled out as he began slashing apart my left arm.
H-He's hammering my left side...! What can I do?! How do I stop him?!
Mr. Hart's POV
I desperately looked at Dylan's body. There's no way... he's not gone, I refuse to believe it!
That's when I looked at his Hyper Crystal. It was still glowing.
"Callie... hold off Jin as long as you can with Tirza." I told her.
