Braeden's POV

After another 2 weeks, it was finally our time to leave Hawaii.

We arrived at the port, and stood on the large yacht that would take us back to the mainland of the United States.

I stood with the Upper 5 as we stared out at the beautiful islands.

"Well this is really it. We're heading home." Said Lenny.

"Let's come back one day." Said Dylan. "Except for an actual vacation."

"Agreed." Said Lee. "But I wonder how reconstruction is going back in Richmond."

"As long as everyone is working together, I'm sure it's going smoothly." Said Lenny. "People tend to work as one in times of need."

"I can't wait to see my sister." I said. "She's probably worried like crazy after seeing the war on tv."

"Can't blame her. If I saw a sibling looking like a literal symbiote demon from hell I'd worry too." Said Declan.

"Shut up man." I replied.

"Hey! Braeden!" We heard Spex's voice. "It's finally being worked on! It's really happening!"

"Spex?" I said. "What's being worked on? What do you mean?"

"You didn't know about this but..." Spex started. "Before, when Jin attacked our facility, I faced him with a suit I created, using my inactive elements. I was able to hold him for a while, long enough for Valé to come and save me."

"Yeah?" I nodded.

"I want you to know Braeden... when your elements go inactive, we've got you covered." Spex smiled.

"HUH?!" I exclaimed. "W-WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!"

"Hehe!" Declan laughed.

"It's been hard keeping this secret for so long." Lee said.

"Thank god we did though." Said Lenny.

"You're the one who almost spoiled it you nark." Said Dylan.

"YOU GUYS WERE IN ON THIS TOO?!" I exclaimed. "WHAT IS GOING ON SPEX?!"

Spex placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Braeden Wilson is a hero that the world can't afford to lose!" Spex smiled. "We're working on... The Powersurge Suit! You may lose your powers soon, but with this, you can still be a hero! Everyone chipped in to help pay for this! Even Echo and Minerva used money from their piggy banks!"

Tears began to fill my eyes.

"That's right Braeden." Dylan smiled. "You can still live out your dream!"

"Guys..." I smiled as I wiped my tears. "Thank you! You're the greatest friends that anyone could ever ask for!"

"Braeden! Everyone!" We heard Echo and Minerva's voices, and looked to see them running towards the boat on the land. "Thank you... for everything! Thank you for saving us!"

"I'm going to work hard!" Echo yelled out, looking right at me. "I'll learn to use my powers! Then I'll be a hero just like you!"

We all smiled at the two of them.

"Work hard you two." Dylan smiled. "I'll miss you."

"Hey! Echo! Minerva!" I smiled as I waved out to them. "You can... become a hero!"

Echo's eyes lit up and widened with awe when I said that.

"I'll see you at our new hero facility one day!" I yelled out to them. "Surpass your limits! And Go Beyond!"
