Daniel's eyes widened as he quickly looked down and carefully released Jewel's snout before stepping off to her side.
He made his way over to where Blue was standing to look down at the queen of the Hivewings.

Jewel looked up at both of them fearfully.
"Who... Who are you?"

Blue spoke up.
"That's none of your concern" Repeating what Daniel had said previously.
He smiled a Blue briefly before looking back at Jewel.

Jewel exchanged glances between both of them.
"You're not going to kill me... Right?"

Daniel let out a sigh.
"Don't worry, we're not here to harm anyone, we're just looking for something"
He looked towards Blue who was eyeing Jewel down.

Daniel tilted his head to the side.
"You alright Widow?"

Blue nodded.
"Yeah... Don't worry about it"

Jewel looked back at Blue, soon noticing the small antenna which was poking out of the top of his hood.
"Wait... You're a Silkwing?"

"Yeah, what about it?" Blue asked with a hint of annoyance though it was barely noticeable.

"Nothing! It's just that I didn't expect you to be here of all places, don't you guys live in the new kingdom?"

"Yeah that's right" Blue confirmed.

Jewel nodded.
"Then what are you doing all the way out here?"

Blue fell silent, not knowing how to respond exactly.
Luckily for him though, Daniel stepped in.

"I think we've said enough thank you very much"
He spread his good wing out between the two dragons.

Jewel's eyes widened.
"Woah! Your wings!-"

"Are large?" Daniel Interruped. "Yeah I've heard it before"

"No!" Jewel said.
"Well yes they are but I've never seen that pattern before!"

Daniel raised a brow as Jewel looked closer.
"Your wings have... Two colours?"
She got up off the ground, analysing his wings with great curiosity. So much so that it put Daniel on edge a little.

Blue also stared, just noticing the pattern for the first time.
"She's right..." Blue stated.
"How come I never noticed it?"

Daniel shrugged.
"Well I mean I never noticed it either so I don't blame you"
He switched his attention to his wing as he studied it.

They were right.
Initially, he thought his wings were a sort of light red but that wasn't the case.

His wings were actually a mix of both red and orange. There was a sort of zig-zag pattern which divided the two sectors of colours on his wings.

It was interesting, but most definitely not natural, and it scared Daniel slightly, especially since he'd never heard of anything like this before.

He turned his attention back to Jewel who was still examining his wings with curiosity.
However, this was when Daniel realised that they were supposed to be keeping Jewel hostage.

Daniel quickly jumped backwards.
"H-hey wait a second! I didn't say you could just go ahead and examine my wings like some artwork!"

Jewel flinched, startled.
"Oh! Right that was quite rude of me, sorry about that"

Daniel raised a brow though it wasn't like Jewel could see it under his hood.
"You're not as scared as I thought you'd be"

Jewel shrugged.
"Well, should I be? I mean you did say that you weren't here to hurt anyone right?"
