"Wait! wait! wait! So let me get this straight" Hailstorm said.
"There's some mystery shadow dragon called the 'Gatekeeper' who's trying to destroy the world or something of the sort, and you're all trying to stop him."

Daniel nodded, "Yes, that's right," He stated.

"And the destruction in the kingdoms was caused by the supposed scrolls of chaos? And NOT because you did so?" Ostrich asked.

"For the most part," Turtle said.
"We had to... Improvise... at some points to save our scales."

Anemone looked at Turtle.
"What do you mean by 'improvise'?"

Qibli made a face.
"Well... You could say we spilt a little blood and burnt a few things..."

Hailstorm looked up.
"You're talking about the Scorpion Den, right?"

"That was one of the instances," Kinkajou said.
"There were a few others..."

"Such as?" Kori raised a brow.

"Such as the massacre in the deep palace," Star stated bluntly.

The groups' eyes widened.
"Massacre...?" Anemone stated, "What massacre!?"

Turtle looked down.
"The massacre I committed..."

Anemone stared at her brother, eyes wide.
"H-How many..."

"At least thirty," Turtle said, though his voice didn't strike anyone as remorseful.

Winter sighed.
"Are we done here? Because if you don't mind I'd rather lay down somewhere cold."
He flipped his balisong nonchalantly.

Daniel watched as Winter did a few flashy tricks which he assumed he'd learned with a bit of time.

It was a little impressive actually since he wasn't even looking at the weapon.
The blade danced between his claws in an almost artistic and satisfying way.

"I'll come with you." Qibli offered, slightly mesmerised by Winter's knife skills.

Winter shot Qibli a genuine smile.
"Sure!" He said somewhat enthusiastically which made Hailstorm raise a brow.

Daniel shrugged.
"Yeah, I guess that's about it, if anyone has any more questions or anything of the sort just ask me, I'll probably stay here."

Daniel looked around at the green scenery, the sun was on the decline now, must be somewhere around three in the afternoon.

The lush grass below him served as an extensive cushion across his scales.
He stretched his limbs and wings which were a little stiff.
His chest softly screamed out in pain as he did so.

Daniel quickly retracted his limbs and wings, realising he'd have to be a bit more careful with his chest as it was still in a vulnerable state.

There was the rustling of talon-steps as a few of the dragons nearby decided to wander off and do their own things.

They didn't wander far, most of them decided to head inside the hut nearby or along side it, meaning they were still in view.

However, they were far enough away to not be part of the conversation anymore.
Daniel looked up and realised that despite mostly everyone wandering off, there were still a few dragons watching him.

Hailstorm, Anemone, Tamarin, Blue, Luna, Cricket, and Charlotte were sitting in front of him in a sort of semi-circle.

Daniel got himself up into a proper sitting position.
"I take it you guys have a few more questions...?"
