Here Come The Heathens!

Wasp glared at Daniel wickedly, it seemed she recognised the weapon he was carrying.

A few moments later, more dragons emerged behind Daniel, Willow and Sundew were the first shortly followed by Cricket, Winter and Ostrich.

They all stopped abruptly as they looked at the vast army in front of them.

It seemed that Wasp had somehow gathered her entire tribe besides dragonets or at least close to it.

Every dragon behind her was armed with a sharp spear, the same spear that Daniel realised was used by Nettle when she was fighting against Willow.

More dragons soon emerged from the kingdom, they were Silkwings and Leafwings mainly but Daniel also spotted a few Hivewings as well as the Phyrrian queens thrown into the mix.

Meanwhile, as practically the entire kingdom was utterly shocked at what was going on,
An intense staredown between Wasp and Daniel was occurring.

Wasp smiled wickedly.
"I remember you..." She spat bitterly.

Daniel wasn't phased.
"So do I..." He responded cooly, "I'm surprised you had the guts to come here, Bloodworm didn't,"

Wasp growled.
"Watch your tone dragonet, you think I'm going to let my sister's death slide? You don't know who you're dealing with," she repeated what she initially said back in the hive.

"Neither do you," Daniel spat back.
He was about to say something else when there was a sudden outcry from other dragons.
Daniel looked towards where the voice came from and soon realised who it was.

Standing in front of the entrance to the Leafsilk kingdom was Queen Sequoia.
She had a face of pure fear imprinted which only made Wasp smile when she saw it.

"My my... Now what do we have here...?" Wasp spoke sinisterly.
The old Hivewing walked over towards Sequoia who took a nervous step back.

"If it isn't the queen of the Leafwings herself..." Wasp chuckled. "Finally decided to grow a spine after all these years?"

Sequoia snarled.
"How in Clearsight's name did you get out of imprisonment!?"

Wasp laughed.
"Oh, that was thanks to a kind fellow who left behind a bit of powerful flamesilk, honestly, I haven't seen anything like it, unfortunately, it scorched my wing though it also burned through my chains that's for sure,"

Daniel's eyes widened as he recalled the small bit of flamesilk Blue chucked onto Wasp out of spite.
'No... Blue...  What did you do...?'

Wasp laughed.
"Though, he's still dying once I get my claws on him, same with you!" She turned and pointed a vicious claw at Daniel who was standing a little further away.

Daniel stared back at her, his sickle gleamed dangerously in the setting sun.
"Assuming you're not dead that is," He said coldly.

Wasp laughed.
"What makes you think you can kill me!? You're just a dragonet!"
Wasp spat.
"Also, what kind of a name is Reaper anyway? It sounds stupid,"

Sequoia looked at Daniel for a moment.
"I thought your name was Hurricane?"

Daniel shot her a look.
"You know my name?"

"Hazel told me just before you ran past us...  You somehow have problems with every queen?"

"More like they have problems with me," Daniel clarified.
"Hazel's the only one who seems to not want me dead, though in all honesty, I don't know why,"
