Transported: A Wings of Fire Story

Prologue

Hello, I'm writing this small blurb a year after I started this book.
I just wanted to point out that my writing at this point is absolutely horrendous, so just a heads up in case you encounter some spelling and grammar errors 
This is also my first story, so constructive criticism is welcome.
I do promise you that it gets better as the book goes on (If you don't believe me, then you can click on a newer chapter and see for yourself)

Also, a few things to look out for.
- The timeline isn't exactly the same as the canon one; there are some differences that you will learn about as you read further, so if you're confused, don't worry about it.
- Characters sometimes act out of character (usually written as such on purpose)

- THIS STORY CONTAINS DARK THEMES AND SCENES, SO PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND

But besides that, enjoy the book.

It was a regular weekend at Jade Mountain Academy. The skies were clear of clouds, and the sun rays enveloped the school, giving it a warm, joyful coating.

Most students were out flying and enjoying the bright morning, except for a handful who would rather read and relax indoors.

However, the Dragonets of Destiny were not relaxing but rather working. Gathered inside the staff cave, they were organising new students into the school.

Glory, unfortunately, was unable to attend due to having queenly duties back at the Rainforest, but she had previously informed them that no new Rainwing students were keen to enrol as of yet.

"Alright, so currently we seem to have about thirty-six students attending the school," Tsunami stated.
"After the incident that occurred in the history cave, Queen Ruby has been hesitant to replace Carnelian for fear of losing another dragonet. So, we have an extra spot in the Jade winglet.

Clay was the first to speak up. "What about Peril, though?" He raised a brow. "Didn't we agree to allow her to study?"

"Not as a Winglet member," Tsunami explained, keeping her formal composure. "We decided that it would be best if she studied separately for safety reasons. So, although she's studying, she won't be allocated a Winglet.

Tsunami paused. "Besides, she shows up to less than half of her classes, anyway. Not to mention a lot of students fear her. It wouldn't make sense to place her with them."

Clay made a face. "She's not that bad guys..." He sighed before moving on. "Well, if we do need a Skywing for the Jade Winglet we could ask around Possibility." He offered.

"That's a good idea," Sunny chirped with a bright smile. "There's got to be at least one Skywing who's willing to enrol here!"

"That's probably true, but remember that it'll take a while to fly over, find a Skywing who's willing, and then get back here before sundown tomorrow," Starflight said.
"The academic year starts in two days, Even if we left right now we wouldn't get back in time"

Sunny slouched over the table, Clay put a wing around her. "Hey, don't worry," He said reassuringly. "We'll figure something out, I promise."

"The Sanctuary is closer, and it MIGHT be possible to find someone.
Starflight pointed out.
"If I remember correctly Winter also lived there for some time, we could ask hi-"

"I already did so," Tsunami interrupted.
"When he recently returned for the new school year, I mentioned the idea and he said that nobody he knew was keen on it yet."

"Well, there goes that idea then..." Sunny sighed. "There's got to be at least one dragon who's willing! Right?"

The table fell silent as the four dragons pondered on how solve this issue. Starflight opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by a knock at the cave entrance.
