Daniel and Cricket arrived just in the nick of time as the final battle was bound to start at any moment.
The bleachers were filled almost to the brim with dragons eagerly waiting.

A barrage of flamesilk lamps hung from the roof, greatly illuminating the and giving off a slightly warm aura.
Below them, the arena was darker than the top. However, the laps from. The bleachers gave enough lighting for a proper battle.

Daniel soon spotted their friends in the near distance and quickly walked up to them.
"Hey guys! Sorry, we're late," he said.

They all whipped around at the same time.
"Hurricane!" Star exclaimed cheerfully, "Where have you been?"

"Oh, I was just searching for this dragon here" he gestured to Cricket.

Blue's face lit up.
"Cricket!" He said with a smile as he got up, giving her a hug and a quick peck on the lips.
"Where were you? You missed the whole thing!"

Cricket gave an awkward flustered smile.
"Oh! I was just on a walk, that's all" She said.

"How was it?" Qibli asked, who of which Daniel realised he hadn't heard in a while.

"It was good, very peaceful" Cricket replied as she took a seat.
Blue sat down next to her, leaning his head on her shoulder.

However, Daniel then realised there wasn't a place for him to sit.
At least not until Star waved him over.
"Hey! We got you a seat over here!"

Daniel smiled as he made his way over, squeezing through Anemone, Hailstorm, Ostrich, Winter, And Moon in the process.

He took a seat down next to Star, though he was surprised when he noticed another familiar face in the spot next to him.

Sundew was sitting peacefully next to Daniel.
When Sundew noticed Daniel he expected her to shoot him her usual moody and somewhat grumpy face.
However, instead, she actually greeted him with a bright cheery smile.
"Hey, Hurricane!"

Daniel raised a brow, somewhat bewildered about her newfound emotion.
"Woah, what's gotten you so excited and cheery?"

Usually, here, Sundew would return to her usual angry look.
Though she didn't seem to pay any mind to Daniel's remark. Instead, she replied with a still cheery voice which Daniel found both unusual and oddly uncanny.

"Willow agreed to marry me!" She cried with joy.
"I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life!"
She laughed as she looked up at the now-darkened sky with hope and excitement.

This news struck Daniel like a hurdling cannonball.
"W-what!? You proposed!?"

Sundew nodded, her smile beginning to suit her a little more in the process.
"Yeah! Though I couldn't have done it without Blue's help, after all, he was the one who came up with the design for the ring and also the one who planned the whole proposal.

Daniel raised a brow.
"He did?"

"Yep! After finding out that Willow was competing in the tournament, his idea was to find a way to fight her so that I could propose to her after she beat me."

Daniel gave a surprised expression.
"Not a bad plan actually... So you lost the fight on purpose?"

"Well..."She made a slight face.
"That was the plan at first... But after watching her battle it out in the first round I realised I was going to lose anyway, so I decided I might as well try to win."

Sundew turned to Daniel.
"I never got a chance to thank you by the way."

Daniel raised a brow.
"Thank me? For what?"
